A/N: I haven't written in 2 1/2 years. I suppose I should start posting again…

Anyways, this was written at 2 in the morning on a school night. Yay insomnia! Right Edward?!

Edward: I don't sleep. It doesn't matter to me.

Let me warn you that this is a bit difficult to understand for some people. It uses symbols and lovely english crap like that. So if you can tell me the 3 things I say over and over again (even used with slightly different words) you get a cookie! Yay!

Disclaimer: Go chase after that dinosaur over there! It holds the deed that says I own twilight. What? No dinosaur? Damn. I still don't own it. I don't own the song "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman either.

Don't review complaining that its too short. Its supposed to be short and leave you somewhat wondering.

He turned slowly to face me, smiling as the trees whizzed by and caught the air and the trees.

You've got a fast car

I want a ticket to anywhere

Maybe we can make a deal

Maybe together we can we get somewhere

He pushed down on the pedal and the past trailed off in a swirl of green, green, green. Green? Why was everything green? I couldn't remember. My mind was elsewhere. I heard a glittery sigh. I turned to see my angels smile wistful.

You've got a fast car

Is it fast enough so we can fly away

We gotta make a decision

Leave tonight or live and die this way

"We'll never be able to drive fast enough." I whispered sadly. He pushed down slightly harder on the pedal and the present was pulled away with the greenery, silent but wailing in protest. I smiled again.

Cause I remember when we were driving

Driving in your car

Speed so fast it felt I was drunk

City lights lay out before us and your arm felt nice wrapped round my shoulder

I looked over at him, momentarily shell shocked by his beauty. Nothing new, nothing new. For a second I could have sworn I saw a flash of green in his eyes. Green, green, green. Why was everything so green? He pushed down harder on the pedal and all that damn green was sucked away as the future flew at us, smacking the windshield with a resounding thud. I glanced down at a sparkling piece of jewelry on my finger. A shining, silver ring with a beautiful jewel. Engraved were the words:

Bella & Edward

Past, Present, Future

I smiled as I fingered the beautiful stone. It was green. Green, green, green. Why was everything so damn green?

You got a fast car

Is it fast enough so we can fly away

We gotta make a decision

Leave tonight or live and die this way

When we finally arrived, it was dark. I leaned into him and sighed happily. There was no green in sight. The crickets chirped melodiously as we drank in the moment.

Maybe together you and me find that

I ain't got no plans I ain't going nowhere

Just take your fast car and keep on driving

Love it, hate it, think I should add more to the story than just a one-shot? Review and tell me!

Muah!
