Umehara asked his best friends.
"Yes, I'll stay here a bit more. You know, I'm waiting someone"
Junichi explained with a genuine smile.
"See you later, then"
Umehara smiled back.
"See you later"
Junichi watched his friend walking. That anxiety was a cheap price to pay, since he could stay with her. As soon as Junichi saw Nanasaki running towards him with affection and longing, all the time he spent waiting for her had turned into bliss.
They were embraced, and they were feeling each other warmness. At moments like those, time didn't matter.
