A/N: Just a brief lime/lemon for the Tyzula Advent Calendar Day 6 (Fur Blankets).

She Keeps Me Warm

.

Azula is used to silk, not fur.

But she is cold today, and so she finds herself wrapped up in fur blankets that her love fetched her. They are somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in a house enclosed by a thick forest. And snow falls gently from the sky, each flake swirling in its own path until it hits the ground and begins to melt. The Earth Kingdom is a terrible place in winter; Azula knew they should have stowed away on a ship to the Fire Nation.

"Are you feeling warmer?" Ty Lee asks softly, balancing two cups of tea in her shaking hands. Azula woke up with a nightmare and so Ty Lee woke up with her, because that is how love works. That is how it works when you sacrifice everything to elope with a dangerous criminal.

"Yes. These stolen blankets are not as terrible as I thought animal fur would be," Azula admits and Ty Lee wants to jump for joy about Azula's rare gratitude.

"Are you feeling any better?" Ty Lee pushes her luck. She doesn't succeed.

"I was never feeling poorly in the first place," Azula retorts. Ty Lee nods. "Maybe we should move from this place and go somewhere less disgustingly cold. I'm going to bed. You may join me if you would like."

Azula stands, the blankets still wrapped around her, grabs her tea and walks back to their bedroom. She disappears inside, leaving Ty Lee gazing at the fireplace with a wistful expression.

Ty Lee knows that Azula is hurting, and she wants to help her so much. She would give anything to make the princess not suffer from nightmares, not have such aftershocks from what Ty Lee blames herself for doing. It feels terrible to think that you are responsible for the person you love most being in constant pain.

Slowly, Ty Lee stands up, takes a few sips of her tea, and walks to their bedroom. Azula is lying down under three stacks of fur blankets, and she still feels cold. She does not like any of this. Not her nightmares about freezing to death, not anything.

Ty Lee hops into bed with her and manages to liberate a corner of the fur blankets for herself. She lies there in total silence with Azula for several long seconds before the princess kisses her on the lips. It is not a gentle goodnight kiss – not that Azula gives many of those in the first place – and so it makes Ty Lee's head spin.

She kisses Azula twice. Then once, long and hard. They are drifting closer together beneath their three comforters, as slow and light as the snowflakes on the wind outside. And then, like those snowflakes, they collide and melt.

"I can't get on top of you. I'm freezing," Azula says and Ty Lee nods.

Ty Lee, unafraid of the cold after Kyoshi Island, twists her body and is on top of Princess Azula. That is warmer than fur, warmer than the fire still crackling in the living room. This is the absolute distraction from the ghosts that haunt Azula's head.

They begin to remove their clothes, Azula making things too awkward by trying to remain under the blankets at all times – but Ty Lee can't expect her to freeze to death, can she? Ty Lee whips off her own shirt and lets the cold make her skin prickle and her nipples harden.

Ty Lee kisses the nape of her neck, and then right beneath her ribs. She attempts to go along with Azula's attempts with the blankets as she pries off Azula's panties. It would be too cold, if Ty Lee's lips were not trailing down across Azula's ivory skin and moving down towards her thighs.

Azula shrieks and Ty Lee jumps away.

"Don't displace my heat fortress." Azula grabs a pillow that Ty Lee had knocked over.

Ty Lee rolls her eyes while Azula is not looking.

But Azula does not have to worry about the blankets keeping her warm when Ty Lee drags her mouth along her inner thigh and inward.
