It's truly crazy how the world is these days. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was walking home, not caring about anything when all of a sudden it struck. I don't know what happened after that. People were shouting and yelling for ambulances, but I wasn't listening. even though the ambulances were for me. The Yellow Flower had attacked our city, yet, no one knew why. People were getting hurt left and right, falling off the sides of buildings or getting hit with the bombs that landed on their houses. When I was at the hospital, the lady that I was sharing a room with told how I had gotten hurt. A bomb was heading right for me; so another person ran and grabbed me so I wouldn't get hurt. We landed next to a building that was on fire and it was starting to collapse. The excess rubble fell on us. I had five broken bones and a head fracture. I had broken my left foot, my right arm, my collarbone, left shoulder and some ribs, however, the man that saved me from the bomb was alive and doing just fine. He was in a coma, but they say that he should be waking up any day now.
My name is Kunie Satake. I'm in 9th grade at Sakura High School. I have long black hair and blue eyes. I was in the Karate Club and Music Club. I had my black belt and played the violin. My mother just died just two days ago and my father was in the Military. I don't think he ever received the notice about her death. I had stayed home ever since the death. She died of cancer, and besides, her bad heart didn't help at all either.
The doctors said that I was to be in the hospital for a couple of months. I had to sit in a wheel chair whenever I wanted to leave my bed and I had to go through therapy. One day in the park however, when I was drawing the ocean and trees, I saw I person lying on the beach. They didn't look alive so I called for help, but not a soul could hear me. I found a path the lead to the beach and I followed it. My heart was beating faster and faster. I didn't want someone else in this world to die. When I reached the person, I noticed they were breathing but not very well.
