Author's notes: Hi, this is actually the first time that I am posting a (fan) poem! My first try….after a long, long time, to write poem. Whew! I don't really know if this is a nice poem…. Yep, I was just inspired by a poem I read yesterday. It's called 'Are you thinking of me, my Lion?' by Shiva Diva….It's a really nice poem in Rinoa's POV. I really think I overdid this one…anyway, after you –actually- read this, excuse my poor fourteen-year old brain for writing such a poem.... anyway READ & REVIEW…so that –probably- the next time you come across another poem of mine…then hopefully it would be better!
Through the Darkness and the Light

I will watch over you,
Always near and always true.
Every single order I will follow,
Be it bring happiness or sorrow.
Through the Darkness and the Light
Your voice is like law,
In your presence and glory, they bow.
I will always be your knight,
Not the puppet in my opponents' sight.
Through the Darkness and the Light
I will suffer a million times for you,
Cross the seas to prove that I am true.
I will fight a losing battle,
With my chance of winning, and living— little.
Through the Darkness and the Light
I will follow wherever you go,
My pride and honor for you I will throw.
Each day that passes, I will;
Never regret my losses.
Through the Darkness and the Light
Let my blade fall on me,
And my opponents win over me.
Through these, I will persevere,
For your smile, true and sincere.
Through the Darkness and the Light
As I watch them end my knighthood,
I will raise my blade and end our feud.
No longer a knight, I shall fight one last time,
A duel to prove that I was no puppet of thine.
I will be your knight; in Darkness and in Light
