Unless I went back in time and write the story before Stephenie Meyer does, I don't Twilight.

Alice POV

He came towards me and held out his hand for me to take. I looked down at his hand, then at him.

"Jasper, what are you doing? You know I can't dance." I almost whined. I hated not knowing how to dance, I've always wanted to.

He smiled at me sweetly. "Give me your hand, let me teach you."

I gave him a nervous smile as I slowly took his hand. I was completely stiff when he pulled me towards him.

"Relax darlin'. No need to be nervous, it's just us here." He kissed my nose trying to get me to relax.

I almost instantly melted; he always knew how to do that to me. I closed my eyes for a moment before looking back at him and nodded for him to start.

He took my left hand and put it on his shoulder, then he put his right hand on my waist; he took my right hand in his left. He started slowly swaying us from side to side. It was a couple minutes before he spoke again.

"See, it's not that hard." He grinned at me widely.

I smirked at him. "Well everything just comes to you so naturally, doesn't it?"

"Well if I recall correctly, you learned to dance like this in less than five minutes." He informed me lightly.

"That's beside the point, Jasper." I said quickly.

"Then what is the point, Alice?" he asked as he stared into my eyes, making me feel slightly self conscious.

I didn't answer back, I just glanced away slightly.

Suddenly, he changed our dance as he started spinning us in slow circles; we started moving around the room.

He then dipped me low and brought me back up, only to spin me away from him, and then tug on my wrist making me spin back into him with my back to his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and slowly swayed from side to side once more.

I leaned my head back onto his chest, closing my eyes. He put his lips to my ear.

"See," he kissed my neck "Dancing isn't that hard."
