The Distance
When the draft came around, both Sasha and Becky were initially happy. There would be more opportunities to stand out. They did not even think of what being apart would mean for their relationship.
They had been together since the start in NXT. Sasha was the quiet, nerdy, gamer girl and Becky was the loud social butterfly but they just worked. They spent every minute together, so Becky being moved to Smackdown was rough in the beginning.
The Beginning
Sasha sat on her hotel bed with an inner battle of emotions. She'd just gotten the biggest news of her career, that she was booked to win the Women's Championship from Charlotte. The only problem was that her celebration was tainted by the fact that Becky was shipping off to Smackdown that very day.
Sasha looked up at the door when she heard it open and Becky walk in with her travel arrangements in hand. On the surface, Becky looked normal, but Sasha knew she was afraid to leave her girlfriend and best friend, Charlotte, on Raw; even if the grass was greener for her on Smackdown.
Becky hide that emotion well and Sasha had gotten good at pretending to buy into it as well.
"So, you got your bus pass and everything."
"Yeap, it's all here."
"When do you leave?"
"The bus leaves at nine tonight so it's a good thing I have everything already packed up."
"Yes, it's a good thing." Sasha said, putting her head down so she would not have to make eye contact with Becky. "Is it bad that I don't want you to go? I mean would it be legit selfish of me to ask you to stay?"
Becky took a deep breath and sat down next to Sasha. "I wish you could come with me to Smackdown. I know you are going to make all of your dreams come true here but I just want you with me there." Becky laced her fingers with Sasha's. "I always picture us being together when we made it big."
Sasha looked at Becky with watery eyes.
"But yes, it's selfish of me to want anything other than greatness for you. So, I don't think about our time apart. I think about working my ass off to become champion so I can make you proud."
"I'm always proud of you Becks."
"I'm always proud of you Sash."
Sasha rolled her eyes at Becky's cheesy reply and smiled. Sensing she had Sasha in a playful place, Becky told her a pun.
"Although I must admit the fans will miss seeing us together. They can tell we have chemistry. That's why we always get a reaction." Becky smiled herself. "Get it. Chemistry. Reaction."
"OH, you are such a dork."
"I'm your dork."
"You're my dork." Sasha nodded her head. "You're my woman and no amount miles is going to change that." Sasha said sounding a little too much like her in-ring persona. It's just that her glasses made her look cute instead of intimidating.
"Don't get BOSSY with me gurl." Becky playfully rolled her neck. "Get it. Bossy because you're The Boss." Becky laughed at her own pun once again.
"Oh, shut up." Sasha said with a smile and pulled Becky into a strong kiss. She held Becky's face in her hands as she felt Becky gripped her waist. As the two-woman massaged each other with their mouths, they were both determined to not let that kiss be their last. They knew the statistic of wrestling couples. The chances were slim for couples in the business and even slimmer for LGBT couples, the only female couple they knew of that made it were the great Trish and Lita, but that was not going to stop them from defying the odds. They were going to make it. Distance be damned.
There goes your first chapter. I hope you all like it. If you do like it, tell me in a comment. If you don't like it, tell me in a comment. Basically, I just really want feedback, lol. Just tell me want you want to see happen and who you want to see along the way. BeckyXSasha over and out!
