Tak's Poem
Summary: An angry Irken writes a poem for Zim. It is quite touching, actually (just kidding, it is really kind of stupid, but hey I don't care)
Disclaimer: I don't own Invader Zim, Tak, or even the actual poem (I took it from the show).
Author's note: Okay, I posted this awhile ago and now it has been revamped. Actually, I just fixed the errors, so now it is error free. Also, I DO have the poem right, I watched the episode with closed captions, so I'm right, so don't try to say otherwise.
For longer than I can remember…
Tak gritted her teeth. Tomorrow, Zim would pay for ruining her life. She fidgeted with her pen while trying to write the next line in the poem. Her purple eyes were filled with anger, yet her mission wasn't about revenge, it was just to get her rightful job back.
…I've been looking for someone like you…
The plan was flawless. The filthy creatures that inhabited this sad excuse of a planet were going to be destroyed and Zim would lose his 'job.' Not that he had a real job; the Almighty Tallest had just sent him here with a fake mission just to get him away from them.
…Someone with a head like yours, and a torso too…
Tak's mind filled with a picture of Zim. His face grinning while eating a snack, that was the last time she had seen him: the day he had ruined her life. The next time they met face-to-face, however, Zim would be the one would pay. He would rue the day he ever messed with Tak!
…Birds sing…
She couldn't stand it anymore. The stupid poem was valuable to the plan, but it didn't have to be perfect. She wrote a few more words and then finished preparing for the next day.
...And you're going to pay...
...The End...

Authors note: It sucks, I know, but when you say it, it's considered a flame (right?), and I use flames to either burn the writer of them at the stake, or to heat my shower. Oh and here is the entire poem from the show:
For longer than I can remember,
I've been looking for someone like you.
Someone with a head like yours,
And a torso too.
Birds sing
and you're going to pay
The End
