A/N: This was my submission for the St. Patrick's Day/Easter contest by Accio-Quill-and-Ink on DA. Hope you like it.
A Little St. Patrick's Day Fun
Minerva chuckled quietly covering her mouth demurely as Harry smiled reclining in the chair across from her, one leg crossed over the other. "Oh, Harry, that's great!" Minerva exclaimed giving another soft chuckle. "Of course I'm not sure how we'll pull it off entirely; you know how the students still fear Severus."
Harry nodded slightly though the smile still remained on his face. "You think we can talk to Pomona and Filius at least? Who knows, maybe this year's students aren't quite as afraid of him as you think…"
"Yes, of course," Minerva answered. "I'll talk to them this evening after dinner and they can return and talk to their houses then we'll just have to see what happens tomorrow."
Harry nodded with a grin and stood, taking his leave.
The next evening, Harry sat the table with several stacks of parchment in front of him; grading the DADA tests he had given that day when Severus entered grumbling.
Harry hid a smile before asking, "What's wrong now? Did someone blow up the lab again?" Actually, he knew perfectly well what was 'wrong', having instigated it himself the day before and seen it all play out before him as he caught glimpses of Severus throughout the day.
"No!" Severus retorted a little strongly and sighed before grumbling. "When Minerva explained that we would be celebrating this holiday and what it was about, and then you told me if I wore green today I would be fine, I thought I played it safe… apparently there's something I wasn't told."
Harry blinked his eyes raking over the man in front of him before he chuckled.
"What?" Severus asked, irritated. "I am wearing green, and you know it!"
"Severus," Harry said standing up and going to his irritated lover, wrapping his arms around his waist before giving him a slight pinch, making the man jump slightly and glare at him. "It has to be visible so other people know you're safe otherwise you get pinched."
Severus sighed and grumbled under his breath, glaring down at Harry. "Stupid holiday," he spat and Harry chuckled again.
"Come on…" he said softly leading Severus toward the bedroom. "Why don't you show me that green and I'll make it up to you...?"
