((A/N: HELLO! This is my first story and I, to be honest, have no idea how to work this site! Hahaha, but I wanted to write a short fanfic and see how it goes.))

Link watched as Ganondorf entered Zelda's body, clutching his sword tightly. Her skin paled into a grayish green, dark vein-like things creeping up her neck. "Zelda!" He called out to her. Her eyes opened and she stared down at him, her gaze cold and ruthless. "She's gone, Hero." A deep voice bellowed- Ganondorf's voice. Link grimaced. "Leave her be, Ganon! This is between you and me!" He yelled. His reply was a low laugh, making him tense. "I know your feelings for her. You can't bear to hurt her, I can see it in your pained and angered face." Link kept a close eye on Zelda's body as she floated around him. Ganon was using her like a puppet. She circled about him. "I can hear her thoughts, Hero. Link! Link! She cries out to you but your answers go unheard. She's screaming, can't you hear it?!" Link gritted his teeth. "Leave her be!" He yelled at Ganon. But he only laughed. "Why should I?" Puppet Zelda dove down at Link, her thin blade in hand. Link managed to block her, but stumbled back at the speed and force. "Stop it!" He yelled uselessly. Puppet Zelda dove down for another attack. "Stop!" Link continued to say, blocking her again. The floor beneath him started to glow and he jumped out of the way just before it could cause him any harm. Puppet Zelda started to form a ball of electricity, and then threw it at Link. "Just stop! I don't want to hurt her!" Instead of hitting the ball of electricity back at Puppet Zelda, having no time to dodge, he was shocked by volts of electricity. He cried out in agony. Suddenly, he felt an extreme stinging pain in his chest, and something warm was flowing down it. Blinking, he realized that while he was being electrocuted Puppet Zelda had driven her blade into his chest. He put his hands to his chest, then looked at them. They were stained red with blood. "Z-Zelda..." Link muttered before crashing to the ground. He tried reaching for the potions in his pouch, but before he could pull a bottle loose, Puppet Zelda smashed them, the potions seeping out onto the ground. Link struggled to live, despite his body screaming at him to stop. "...I...I have to save..." He slumped back onto the ground. "...have to...save..." His consciousness was fading fast. He saw Puppet Zelda looming over him. "...save...Zelda..." He exhaled, his last word also his dying breath. Ganon's laugh resounded in the room. "GAME OVER."
