Have you ever wondered how people came together? If someone decided that there was a path for you to take? How about if there were different worlds for each decision you made? What if everyone was on their own, and we had to make the best of it?
With every crew member on the Sunny, what would happen if something changed, or a different path was taken?
What would have happened to Brook? We could have easily chosen to go to a different island or take a different route. Would he still be there alone with the memories of his old crew, slowly coming closer to his insanity?
Would Franky have found a different crew to make a ship that would travel to the end of the world. If we never damaged Merry so bad, would we have ever met him?
If we never forced him to come to our ship, would he have come by himself?
Only God would know what would have happened to Robin. If there is one. Where would she be? Would she even be alive, or would she be holding that sadness and weight all by herself? Would anyone stand with her, and would she be betrayed once again?
If Nami never got sick and we never had to find a doctor, would Chopper ever find friends that would accept him? Would he be ruled be a king that made the kingdom suffer? Or what if Chopper never ate the devil fruit, and was with his herd?
What if Sanji never left with the crew? Would he still be at the restaurant, not following his own dreams of the all blue? If that happened would he give up on the dream all by itself?
If Usopp went on his own, and didn't get on the Going Merry? Would he have his dream, or would he return to tell stories to the village? Would be hear about the great hero Usopp? Who would he tell his stories to if the crew never came to his village? Wouldn't they all be gone?
If Arlong still held Nami captive and no one came to save her? There is too many ways that story could have turned out, all of them not the right way.
Finally Zoro. If the crew never even started with the swordsman in the first place? If Luffy never heard of him, and never met him. How would the Strawhats turn out?
Thinking back to all the ways everything could have turned out, What would have happened if Zoro never even wanted to be a swordsman?
But, the thing is we don't have to think about that. That never happened. We DO have Brook, Franky, Robin, and Chopper.
We DO have Sanji, Usopp, Nami and Zoro. Luffy became our captain and saved us in almost every sense.
Everything turned out the way it was supposed to. Or maybe it turned out all wrong to what was planned for us. However we wouldn't change it for the world, our dreams, or anything. We are the Strawhat crew. Like us or not we stand here together.
People might try to push us down or drag us down. What they don't know is that if someone does, we will continue on, with everyone, no one will stop us on the way to each other's dreams. That's the way we are.
