"Matt, can you go over my lines with me?" Karen asked, her tone slightly flirtatious. Matt looked up at her to respond. "Pretty please?" She pouted, before he got the opportunity to speak. It didn't register to her that she was flirting, not did it to matt- to them,
it was natural. From day one, they just clicked. At first, obviously it was quite awkward, but soon they got along brilliantly and became close friends.
"Um, yeah, sure." He smiled. "Where from?" She grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the sofa beside her.
"Mhmm, here!" She pointed at some words on the script.
"Sure." He replied "Amy, you need to start trusting me, it's never been more important." Matt started, expressionless.
Karen leant back against the sofa, silent. Matt signalled for her to say the next line.
"You're boring." She elbowed his side playfully. "How can I learn my lines properly if you're acting like you don't want to be here?"
"How can you learn your lines properly if you're not responding to me helping you?" He teased.
"Shut up." She murmured, a smile growing on her face.
"Fine, fine, fine!" He responded.
Karen only really meant for him to put some effort into the scripted words spilling from his mouth, but matt decided to go the extra step and try to act it out properly, as if the camera was rolling."
He put his hand on top of Karen's, which were resting on her knee and brought his face closer to hers.
"Amy, you need to start trusting me," He started, looking at Karens (beautiful) face. Her eyes, by this point, were closed. "It's never been more important."
"But you don't always tell me the truth." She spoke. This line was one Karen knew for certain, so she was able to keep her eyes completely shut whilst saying it. Other lines following, she wasn't sure on, so her script was next to her incase she needed to sneak a glance.
"If I always told you the truth, I wouldn't need you to trust me." Matt pressed his forehead against Karen's and she could feel his breath tickling against her. She opened her eyes, for what was meant to be just a brief moment. Her eyes met Matt's and they seemed to lock a gaze on each other. Faces still close, Matt brushed his lips passed Karen's, accidentally. Both of their hearts skipped a beat- that was something they'd have liked to have happen for quite a while, especially off camera and completely non-scripted. Karen moved herself closer to Matt as their lips re-joined, this time, properly. They fitted together perfectly and started to move in sync. Karen pulled away first
"Did I get my line right?" She asked, knowing she did.
"Perfect." He responded, moving his hand off of hers.
"What's my treat?" Matt smirked at her comment before wrapping his arms around her waist and leaning in to kiss her again. She placed her hands on his shoulders and kissed him back. He deepened the kiss as she began ruffling the bottom of his hair with her left hand. For a few minutes, they kissed passionately, undisturbed.
Matt pulled away and leant back against the sofa, still gazing into her sparkling eyes. Karen leant back against him and rested her head on his shoulder. She grabbed hold of his left hand and intertwined their fingers.
