"Your world's not over yet."
Teal'c's eyes flittered open. Daniel. He lifted his head. Everything ached. Red and gold as far as he could see. His vision blurred and he passed out. Blackness for a second, then something new.
He looked round at the doctor.
"Huh? Sorry, I was... Somewhere else." he frowned. What had he been thinking about?
"I just asked you if you were okay."
The doctor's blue eyes sparkled with some greater knowledge.
"I'm fine, doc."
"I doubt that T. What you're doing here, it's big. No one would blame you for being anxious. And the dreams..."
"They're just that, doc. I'm not worried."
"Don't believe in bad dreams"
Teal'c turned and looked down the corridor. Daniel?
"Hey, you all right T?" Jack slapped him on the back.
"I am... Fine, O'Neill."

Doctor Fraiser shone the penlight into one eye, then the other. Each iris contracted in turn. She snapped it off.
"Physically, he's fine." she addressed O'Neill.
"Physically? What about the other stuff?"
Janet shrugged, "The dreams, well, they may just be a way to let out stress. We all dream colonel."
"But Teal'c..."
Jack's voice faded.
"Tell me about the dreams." the psychologist asked, leaning forward in his chair.
"They're nothing. Just been watching too much late night scifi."
The doctor smiled, "It's more than that, T."
The doctor had caring eyes, and T wanted to tell him about his hallucinations, but he had to save Bray. Nothing would get in the way of that.

Teal'c passed the symbiote from his stomach to Bra'tac's gritting his teeth. Everything hurt. His body was feeling the effect of having no symbiote. He couldn't go on much longer.
"Don't let the dark side bring you down."
The whisper echoed in his mind.

He looked up at the 'gate. Probie--Jonas was standing with him. He seemed to flicker. Teal'c blinked and looked around, no one else had noticed. Another man stood beside him now.
"Daniel Jackson?"
Daniel smiled.
"It's only a dream."

A swarm of white-coated nurses rushed Teal'c through the SGC on a gurney. He caught snatches of their conversation.
"We found over a hundred rebel jaffa dead. Every single one of
them had had their symbiotes removed except one."
"Bra'tac."

Daniel looked down at his friend as he slept on. The others were calling, he could feel them pressing at the corners of his mind. He took a second longer to make sure Teal'c would be okay, then simply turned and disappeared.
