Chapter 1"What if I invite her today?" he thought, sipping his coffee quietly.
Eileen was cleaning the tables with a red cloth.
"Man, it's today or never" his friend said, as if he had read his thoughts.
"Okay, okay. I'll do it." he got down from his seat.
"Finally" the bird smiled as his friend walked towards Eileen.
"Hey Eileen" he greeted.
"Oh, hey. Is everything okay? Do you need something else?" she asked smiling.
"No, no. Everything's just excellent...I was wondering..." he stopped to focus in her eyes.
"Yes?" she said hopefully.
"...Would you like to hang out tonight?" he finally asked "You know...there's this really good film at the theater and I thought we could..."
"Sure!"
"Oh...really?"
"Yeah, why not? Sounds like fun" she said "my shift ends at five today, see you then?"
"Of course"
"Okay" she said and walked into the kitchen.
He didn't even know if the movie was good or not. In fact, he didn't remember what was the movie's name. But who cared right now? He had finally asked her for a date, if he could call it a date. He simply sighed thinking about those beautiful eyes.
"So, you finally did it?" Jeremy asked aproaching.
"Yes, man" Chad answered "I finally did it".
