A/N: This poem needs explaining, doesn't it? Harry and Ginny married and became Aurors. Ginny is standing at their home, reflecting, before they leave to search for Voldemort.
Disclaimer: It's my poem, everything else belongs to the Great One.
She stood
With the low autumnal twilight embracing her
And the faint chill surrounding her
She stood
Facing the sunset
Facing the mountains
Facing the unknown

She knew
Knew of the trails that they would face
And knew they'd face them together
She knew
What was coming
What was behind her
What was here

She touched
The stone well below her
So grey, so deep
She touched
Reached up and touched the sky
The clouds
The trees

She knew
Knew of the trials that they would face
And knew they'd face them together
She knew
What was coming
What was behind her
What was here

We will no longer drink wine
And laugh
And sit
In squashy armchairs around the fire and discuss merrily
Seven years have passed
The summer has gone
Its the end of September
