A/N: My Spanish teacher did this to us and I couldn't resist writing a fanfiction about it! I hope you like it. I really can't believe she did this...

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.

"Okay class," Professor Longbottom said. "We need important rules for this class.

Everyone sighed.

"Rule one," He said. He held up one finger. Everyone always hated the first day of classes. "Follow directions," He said, swerving his arms like a funky dance. Everyone laughed at him. "I'm serious. You need to follow-" He did the dance again- "directions." He did the dance again.

Trying to scar the us forever, Teddy thought.

"Rule two," He said, putting up two fingers. "Raise your hand," he raised his hand, "For permission to talk," he put his hand up and put his thumb to his other four fingers like it was a beak and opened and closed it. "Raise you're hand. Wait for me to call on you if you have something to say."

"Rule three," he said to the class, holding up three fingers. "Raise your hand," he said, raising his hand, "To ask for permission to walk out of the classroom," he put one hand flat and used his index finger and middle finger as legs walking across it. "Raise your hand. Wait for me to call on you. Then you go and do what you need." He used his hand gestures again. "And if you need to leave the classroom, then you need to tell me. But if you're just doing something within the classroom feel free to just do the hand signal."

"Rule four." He held up four fingers, "Make smart choices." He tapped the side of his head with his pointer finger. "Make smart choices.

"AND finally," He said a bit louder, "Rule five," he said, taking his wand out. He put it down on his desk. "Make the teacher happy," he said, pointing to us. Teddy Lupin Burst into laughter and nearly fell off his chair. Everyone else started laughing after him.

"When I say 'class,'" He said, adding to the rules. "You say 'Yes.' Let's practice. Class."

"Yes?"

"Classity, Class?"

"Yessity, yes?"

"Good, you got it!" He said enthusiastically with a large smile.

"When I say 'Eyes and ears,'" He said, adding someone else onto the list, "You drop everything, unless it'll eat the floor, then just... hold it and look at me. And if you can drop everything, fold your hands."

He scanned the class.

"Let's Drill." He decided. "Class."

"Yes."

"Eyes and Ears," Everyone folded their hands, laughing. "Classity Class Class."

"Yessity, Yes, Yes." They replied, laughing harder.

"Good job." He said, smiling at his work.

A/N: Please review. Can you believe my Spanish teacher did this with a class of teenagers? She did teach fourth grade last year... maybe she forgot that we weren't nine…
