Chapter 1: Mistaken Identity
One night a wolf was running through the park following a familiar scent. She thought she saw a rabbit hop further in to the park. She decided to follow the rabbit in case it was lost. The wolf put her nose to the ground and began to track the rabbit because she had lost sight of it. When she found it again the rabbit was sitting under a park bench just looking around. She went over to the rabbit and growled softly, then picked it up by the scuff of its neck. Turning she headed back in the direction of her home; with the rabbit in her mouth. It squirmed trying to get free but the rabbit eventually gave up its struggle. The wolf made its way out of the park, to one of the houses that lined the opposite side of the road. It jumped through a partly open window on the first floor. Then headed through the house up the stairs and to one of the bedrooms. Nudging open the bedroom door she walked in and put her front paws on the bed; then let the rabbit go on the bed. She then hopped down and left the room to go into her own, right across the hall, jumping up on her own bed she curled up and fell fast asleep.
In the room that held the frightened rabbit, there is a girl lying in the bed asleep, or so it seemed. The scared rabbit went over to examine the girl; it sniffed her and then stared. All of a sudden the girl opened her eyes to see the rabbit's face right in front of hers; staring at her with confusion and fear in its little eyes. The girl sits bolt upright and screamed.
"HOLY CARROTS!" She not only startled the rabbit but also woke up her parents, who were asleep downstairs. The rabbit hops hurriedly off the bed and hid under the dresser. The next thing the girl knew her parents and the wolf were in her room.
"Mia, what's wrong?" Her mom asked, Mia glared at the wolf and said,
"Sarah, how in the world did that rabbit get into MY ROOM?" Sarah looked at the dresser then back to Mia. She growled softly and then wined at Mia. Mia looked and the wolf.
"What do you mean you thought that that rabbit was me? I look nothing like it!" Sarah growls, then turned and ran to her room, and came back to Mia's room as a teenage girl in a night gown.
"Sorry sis I thought that it was you, it kind of smelled like you, besides it was dark. How was I to see the rabbit is not pure white?" Sarah said to her sister as their parents went back to bed.
