Izayoi's Wish

Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha; if I did Kikyo would stay dead!

My son,

The most precious thing in my life.

He's so adorable,

Little silver ears, long silver hair,

Sharp claws, fangs.

I love everything about him.

I understand that your growing up.

From the time you protected me from the villagers, to the times I thought life couldn't get any worse.

My son you were always there for me.

Even as you get older and I had to leave,

You still tried to be there for me.

Why my son?

Why did someone as gentle hearted as you have to be put in such a state?

It is true I want you no other way my son but,

"Mom?"

A young hanyou child called from the front of the house.

The woman rose from her desk while taking the book with her.

"Mama? Who's book is that?"

Kagome looked up in the sky, and calmly said,

"That's your grandmothers' jorunal, pretty huh?"

The child nodded as Kagome began reading the journal out loud.

I know that one day you will grow strong enough to forget about your mother.

But remember this my so, no matter how many time they shun you,

You should always be proud of being a hanyou.

Never ever let anyone take that from you.

A shadow appeared over Kagome and her son, It was Inuyasha just standing there in shock.

"Where did you get that?" Inuyasha asked as he picked up his son.

"Um it was just laying around somewhere, so what happened at work today?" Kagome said as she set the book on the table beside her.

A figure was watching them,

Inuyasha's mother dressed in her royal kimono, she just gazed on and smiled glad that her wish for Inuyasha to grow up strong had come true. She vanished quickly but not before picking up the journal.

"Stay strong my son."
