Nathan lay a wake silently watching his wife sleep. Remembering how they'd properly meant, it started off him asking her to tutor him, although he had other intentions. His plan was to get close to Haley just to annoy his half brother Lucas. Little did he know that it would be one of the best decisions of his life!

She was always there for him, all through his trouble with his parents divorce, when he
got emancipated, through all the hardships off basketball and school. He couldn't believe how someone could care for someone so much, putting their needs before their own. She was always so patient with him, never calling him stupid or un-intelligent when she'd help him study. Sometimes he wondered why she put up with him, why she loved him. She was so much smarter than him, she was beautiful, and deserved to be with some rocket scientist or something but she was with him, she loved him despite all his flaws. He made sure he'd never take that for granted, always make sure she knew how much he loved her.

He was taken back at how in these past few months with Haley ,she meant so much to him, more than any other girl he'd ever dated. All the others never even came close. He loved the way she always spoke her mind, remembering how when he had first talked her that she had shot him down, even that it was just for tutoring, never by any girl had he, Nathan Scott; team captain, been turned down for anything. All the other girls would throw themselves at him, they never wanted to know about him, and vise versa. But Haley had gotten under his skin and into his heart forever.

Nathan took in everything about her, the scent of her auburn hair, her soft skin, the way her chest rose and fell with every breath. He made sure not to miss anything, afraid it was all a dream and would wake up. Some may say she could get to carried away, worry to much and tend to be a little wacky but they were the many things he loved about her….to him she was perfect!

He was amazed by the way she could relax him, with just a smile or a touch, when he got to aggravated. Or held him when he was upset she knew what to say at the right time, or knew when to be silent and just sit with him. He cringed when he looked back and thought of all the times he'd come close to screwing everything up with her, but she'd always give him another chance. He vowed never to ever hurt her again and to always protect her and he made sure that he would keep his promise.

Slowly Haley began to wake; noticing that Nathan was staring intently at her, his piercing blue eyes still gave her butterflies. "hey what u thinking?" she asked gently, stoking his cheek.
"just how perfect my life has become now your in it" he spoke softly, never taking his eyes off her.
