Hey, my lovelies! As always, I do not own the characters or Winx Club. Enjoy. :)

The rubble of the cave remained as the Winx and specialists walked away, only Bloom looking back at the ruined cave, as if looking for something. Once they had teleported away, a gloved hand burst through a pile of rock, followed by an arm. Slowly Valtor emerged from the remains of the scene of the final battle.

His coat was singed and his light strawberry blond hair was matted with dirt. Still he rose, his trademark smirk adorning his face. In a low voice, he said, "Watch your back, Magix. I'm not done yet."

The night was filled with laughter, happiness, and fireworks. Valtor was finally gone. While all the festivities were going on, a certain redhead sat alone on a bench, in two minds. Her mind was swirling with thoughts and she found it hard to concentrate.

I just killed someone. I just took a life. One side said.

It doesn't matter. He didn't deserve a life anyway. Not after the trouble he has caused. The other argued.

But everyone deserves a second chance, right? I mean, I got one after Shadow Haunt.

I know what I've got to do. Both sides agreed. One solution was clear and it was decided. Bloom got up and teleported herself to the all too familiar cave. There she stood in the midst of all the rubble. The scene of the final battle. She shuddered as she remembered having to fight her way out of Valtor's inner sanctum to avoid going down with him.

As soon as she got back to Alfea, she felt that something was amiss. Instead of feeling a dull nothingness through the Dragon Fire connection she and Valtor shared, Bloom felt a tiny spark, like a flickering flame fighting to stay lit. Then she knew: Valtor was still alive. How? She had no idea. But what she did know was that fairies help those who are struggling, and right now, Valtor was one of those who needed help and Bloom was there to give him a second chance.

So, what do you think? Should I continue this? Please let me know by leaving a review.

Love,

Valtoress
