Title: Braiding

Nami's hair was getting longer.

What once tickled her shoulders, now brushed down to the blades. He played with it between his fingers as she sprawled over his chest, cheek resting against it peacefully. Sanji wasn't sure if she was asleep or not, but it didn't matter. He twirled the ends of her beautiful orange hair around his finger tips, liking how soft it was.

Shifting a bit, careful not to jolt the angel napping against him, he managed to get both arms to her head and started sectioning it out. Fingers combed through it, getting all the little tangles out as best as he could, before dividing a section out into three parts. He started to braid, fingers working quick and sure—wrapping and looping.

As he finished one, he would move onto the next. There was no order as to how he braided the smooth locks, no rhyme or reason behind how long or short they where. Some ended up thicker than others, but all were perfect—just like she was.

Nami sat up as he finished the sixth braid, and gave him a sleepy and puzzled look. He just smiled sheepishly at her before reaching out and grabbing the flowers he'd picked for her earlier that day. She was still nestled between his legs, hands resting on his chest as he started to pick off the blossoms and tuck them into the braids and behind her ears. He noticed her confused look, but continued to tuck in the flowers until he was done.

He sat back ever so slightly to look at her, and started grinning.

She must have taken it as offense, because she reached up to take them out. "I bet I look stupid—"

He grabbed her hand, stopping her and placed a kiss on her fingers with a goofy smile on his face.

"You look beautiful."
