It is a hot summer day in Chicago. I am waiting for Harper in my room. Lexi has Tommy over and they're watching Peppa Pig. I see Faye and Tessa come by. They open the door. I run downstairs. "Oh. Hi, Faye, Tessa. Is Lexi expecting you?" I ask the girls.
"Yeah," Faye says.
"Okay. She's in the living room watching Peppa Pig," I tell the little girls.
After a couple minutes, Kendra, Gabriella, Susan, and Gabe come by to play with Lexi and Tommy. I tell them, "Okay, you guys can play here, but only 6 kids can play here."
After all the kids settled in, Harper came into the house. "Oh, hi Harper," I tell her.
"Hey, Alex. Where's Lexi?" Harper asks.
Then Lexi, Tommy, and all of the other kids run to the kitchen. "Aunt Harper!" Lexi shouts, giving her a hug.
"Alex, I know Tommy, but who are all these kids?" Harper asks.
"This is Faye, Tessa, Kendra, Gabriella, Susan, and Gabe," I tell Harper.
"Lexi, does Harper know your 2 animals?" Tommy asks.
So then Lexi runs to get Peppa and George. After, she comes back to show Harper her animals. "Lexi! Who is this?" Harper asks.
"Peppa and George," Lexi tells Harper, pointing at her animals as she says their names.
"It's pretend," Tommy tells Harper.
"Let's play outside!" Faye says, jumping up and down.
"Yeah! Let's go play at the park!" Lexi yells excitedly.
So then we walk to the park. After we got there, Lexi and Tommy started running around. I take Harper to the swing set. "Let's watch the kids right here," I tell Harper.
We listen to all 8 children talk. Lexi gives George to Tommy. Then she grabs two sticks and gives one to Tommy. "What are we doing?" Tommy asks.
"I'm the bad knight, and you're the good knight, and you have to stop me from taking your princess, Peppa, away from your price, George," Lexi says.
And then Lexi starts running away from Tommy. Then Lexi falls on a rock. I walk over to check if she was okay. "Honey, are you okay?" I ask.
"I'm okay!" Lexi states, with a smile on her face.
"Can I ask what you're doing?" I ask my little girl.
"I'm the bad knight!" Lexi snarls.
"Oh yeah. I heard you say that." I tell Lexi.
And then Tommy starts running over to Lexi. "I gotta go," Lexi states.
I could tell Harper didn't understand what was going on. She got up and went to Lexi. "What are you doing?" Harper asks.
"I'm the bad knight! Just like my daddy was a bad guy!" Lexi laughs.
Lexi runs off. Then Harper grabs Lexi. "Now who's the bad knight?" Harper asks.
Then Tommy starts poking his stick at Peppa. I laugh. "Put me down!" Lexi laughs.
Harper puts Lexi down. Then the two kids start running around again. Then I see Faye with a toy gun. "Are you gonna stop Lexi with that?" I ask her.
"Yes," Faye says.
Faye runs to Lexi. "What are you doing?" Lexi shrieks.
"Give me Peppa," Faye commands.
Lexi gives Peppa to Faye. Then Faye points her toy gun at Lexi and pretends to kill her. "You're dead," says Faye.
Lexi just stands there. I laugh. Then Faye rushes to Tessa and Kendra. "I got Peppa, and I got Lexi killed," she says.
