Lifecycle: Soul: Intro
It wondered where it was again; it had been in here for quite a while. It assumed this; it did not really know just how long it had been in this enigmatic place, however, for it was not yet aware of the measure of time.
It thought about this place quite a lot. Where was it? What was it? Why was it here? It doubted it would ever know, for whenever it pondered these subjects, it was overcome by a powerful, and sometimes quite frustrating, feeling. It called the name of this feeling confusion.
It felt confusion the majority of the time it was kept in this place. This was because it knew of not one thing outside of itself, though it had a horribly extreme want for this knowledge. And this wanting – curiosity – always led to the same thing: confusion.
Virtually all of the questions its mind ever asked went unheeded, unnoticed. It had tried asking, but the other things like itself could not be understood; they spoke in nonsense tongues, and they often only ended up amplifying its feeling even more.
So to it, Everything just was. There was no reason behind them; things just existed. It wondered sometimes why it existed. It just got confused.
It was confused; it named itself.
