Roses for Roxas

Roxas woke up, and saw that him and his bed was covered in red roses.

"What the heck?! Why am I surrounded by Roses?" Roxas jumped when he heard voices getting closer to his door, then realized it was just Axel and Demyx. "Wait a minute! I can't let those two see me surrounded by roses!" In a panic, Roxas shoved all of the roses into a drawer on his desk. 'So long as I don't move from this spot, I'll be fine. They'll never know.'

"Roxas? We're coming in." Axel came in a few seconds later, with Demyx right behind him.

"Roxas? Why do you look so nervous?" Demyx tilted his head to the side, with a slightly worried expression on his face.

"Huh? Oh! I-I'm not nervous! What do you mean?" Roxas attempted to hide his nervousness, but nothing ever gets by Axel.

"What're you hiding, Roxas? Is it so embarrassing that you can't even tell your Best Friends ? Well? Is it?" Axel teased Roxas, knowing he'd get an answer eventually.

"No! I'm not hiding anything! I swear!" Roxas knew his friends wouldn't give up, but it was worth a try anyway.

"Oh, come on Roxas. Why won't you show us? We know you're hiding something..." Demyx's eyes gleamed mysteriously as him and Axel began cornering Roxas.

"I'm not hiding anything!!" Roxas was getting really nervous now. With every word said, the two of them got closer and closer.

"Well, if there's nothing to hide, why won't you come and hang out with us for a while?"

"NO!!! I-I mean..."

"No? Why not?" Demyx turned to Axel and lowered his voice. "He's obviously hiding something. What should we do?"

"What do you think we do? We get him away from the desk." Then, Axel raised his voice as he looked at Roxas. "Now, Demyx!" Demyx leaped toward the bed, pulling Roxas over with him. The moment Roxas's body left the dresser, the roses burst out of the drawer, covering the room. Axel and Demyx turned to Roxas, grinning.

"So, who're they from?"

"I don't know. I woke up, and roses were all around me. Honestly!"

"Sure they were. Come on, Roxas. Let's go bug Saix." Roxas reluctantly followed his friends as he tried to get his face to return to it's natural color.

This is one of my first Kingdom Hearts fanfictions. I hope it wasn't too bad.
