As I rose into the arena, I first thought to myself...Find water no weapons just water. Suddenly the game started and before I knew it the countdown followed.
Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five; out of my peripheral vision I suddenly noticed a young boy jump off his platform and explode causing him to die. Four, three, two, almost there I thought,ONE. I ran to my left seeing a gun to right. "Gun," I thought to myself, " the game makers don't allow guns here." As I grabbed it I saw a boy about my age following me around, continuing to run I realized that this arena was different from all the others i have seen on T.V., this was a combination of all of them: ocean, woods, and canyon.
Still running the boy followed. "Abigail," he called, "wait stop!" Turning around I realized this wasn't just any boy, he was the boy from my own district. Snapping me out of my thoughts he said, " Can we team up together?" I did need help in these Games, so I didn't hesitate in answering him.
"Sure I guess."
