Nessie sat on the edge of the bathtub in shock, looking down at the little white stick in her hand. "Ness! Let me in! What's wrong?" Jacob yelled through the door. Finally, getting a little peeved he broke the door down. Nessie jumped a foot in the air when the door landed inches away from her. "Jake! You knocked the f*****g door down!" nessie screamed and then burst into tears. Jacob scooped her up and took her into the bedroom. He set her down on the bed and looked at her. Then he noticed what she was holding in her hand. "Nessie is that a . . ." he trailed off. She nodded and handed it to him. He saw the result and almost fainted. "You're pregnant?" he asked softly. Nessie nodded and started to cry again. Jake sat down and pulled her into his lap. "Shh its going to be ok, I promise", he whispered. "Jacob I'm going to take a shower ok?" she said after a few minutes." "Sweetie its fine." he replied. Nessie went into her parent's bathroom and turned on the shower, but before she got in she decided that she wanted a bath instead. She filled the tub with water and put in some of her favorite wild cherry-berry bath oil in it. She then sunk into the water with a sigh of pleasure. She decided to close her eyes just for a minute or two and nodded off. Nessie had a dream that she was having her baby. Jacob was telling her she could do it and that he could see the baby suddenly a little tiny baby was placed on her stomache. Then she started coughing and choking. The coughing got worse until she woke with a start on the bathroom floor. She was still coughing up bath water when she ran to the toilet and heaved up about a gallon of it. She realized that she was wet, cold, and naked. She shivered. And looked around. Edward, Bella, Carlisle, Rose, Emmett, Alice, Jasper, Esme, and Jacob were standing there. She shivered again and Edward wrapped a ginormous, fluffy towel around her. "What happened", she asked. "You went to take a shower and I waited in your room for ten minutes and you didn't come back. So I came to investigate and you were under the water and you weren't breathing. I pulled you out and called for help. Everyone got here a minute later and Carlisle started CPR. Then you woke up and heaved in the toilet." Jacob finished. "Is the baby okay?" nessie asked. "What baby?" Emmett asked. That's when she remembered that she hadn't told them. "Surprise?" nessie said weakly. Everyone looked shocked. She stood up weakly. "please don't be angry?", she looked at all of them before bursting into tears. Jacob picked her up and took her to the bedroom. He set her on the bed and asked what pajamas she wanted. She told him to grab her fleece long-sleeved ones and her fleece snuggle socks. She changed into her pajamas and snuggle socks. And wrapped the heaviest quilt in the house around her and laid down on the bed. She fell asleep ten minutes later. Jacob kissed her on the forehead and then headed down stairs to face the music.
