You Win Some, You Lose Some
It all began on a cold winter afternoon. Miranda had just walked through the front door. Headphones turned all the way up, her absolute favorite song pounded against her eardrums. She was jamming out. Hard. But she couldn't help but think she was forgetting something.
As she was dancing up the stairs she heard some muffled yelling in the distance. Ugh, it must have been her uncle. Why won't he just leave her alone? Can't he see she's in a good mood? Like way to kill her vibes.
"THE WHEELS IN THE BUN GO ROUNIN ROUND!" Miranda yells along to her music trying to tune her uncle out. Finally she pulls out one headphone.
"I BEEN YELLIN FOR THE PAST 2 MINUTES, MIRANDA IS THAT YOU?" She finally heard her uncle shout.
"YES OONCLE, IT'S ME OK? IT'S ME MIRANDA!" She's obviously frustrated and begins to stomp to her room.
"Did you remember to take off your shoes when you came in?" Her uncle said from the bottom of the stairs. She looked down at her feet. Oh no, that's what she was forgetting.
"OONCLE LEAMEE ALONE!" She screamed in response.
Loud thuds vibrated the entire house as her uncle stomped up the stairs. "WHAT'D YOU DO GIRL, STEP IN COW SQUIRTS? THERE'S BROWN STAINS ALL THROUGH MA DANG HOUSE NOW!"
"CARPET GIVES MY FOOT FINGERS THE ITCHES! I NEEDED TO WEAR SHOES UP HERE!" The argument was obviously getting more intense.
"YOU LYIN TO ME AGYIN?"
Just then her uncle lunged at Miranda in an attempt to rip her poo stained shoes off her feet. But Miranda didn't give in without a fight. One more sudden movement and her uncle's big black booty rammed into her bedside table and knocked her most prized possession to the ground.
"NOOOOOOO!" Miranda cried as she tried to catch it.
Her chia pet lie there on the floor cracked into a dozen pieces. Miranda didn't know what to do so she just sat there angry and sobbing.
Her uncle tried to comfort her: "Miranda, I'm sorry I didn't mean to break Achoo-chia (that's what she called it because it reminded her of sneezes). I was just angry. Please don't be mad, I'll get you a new one."
But Miranda couldn't help it. The loss was too much for her to bear. She sat alone in her room for a while shouting at the top of her lungs. Someone even called the police they were so worried about what was going on next door. Miranda couldn't help it. She had just lost her best friend. What was she supposed to do without Achoo? All she could think of was so hide from her uncle because he was obviously a psycho and make a sentimental video for all of her Mirfandas, who soon enough became her new best friends.
