Everything's coming up Zalfie! Chapter 2
In the previous chapter, Alfie, Zoe and Nala were at home taking it easy and then Alfie goes out to take Nala for a walk. She gets a call from Tanya Burr and after 2 phone calls they decide to go shopping in The Lanes the next morning. Suddenly, she gets a call from Alfie saying that Nala is gone.
For a second, Zoe just sat there, frozen.
"You're joking right?" she said.
"I wish I was. Just get down to the beach now."
Alfie was crying now. Zoe had only seen him cry once before and it was watching a movie.
"Okay,"
Zoe hung up. She flew up from the sofa almost sending her laptop flying. She ran into the hall, pulled on a coat and a pair of shoes and ran out. Zoe was beside herself. She was crying a river and hoped to God that no one had taken Nala and she was just further up the beach or that Zoe would bump into her soon and call Alfie saying that everything was ok. She got in her Mini and called everyone she knew in Brighton to come and look for Nala. The first person she called was Felix Kjellberg (PewDiePie) and Marzia.
"Hello?" Felix replied on the second ring.
"Felix, hi, it's Zoe. Zoe Sugg. Alfie's girlfriend. It's Nala, she's gone missing."
"Oh my god, Zoe. Are you alright?"
"No of course not. I'm sorry I sound rude but get down to the beach with Marzia as soon as possible and we are calling a search party."
"Okay, we're leaving now." Felix said.
He hung up. The next person that she called was Naomi Smart and Marcus Butler who were hanging out with Zoe's good friend Gabby. They all came down too. Zoe was at the beach now and she saw Alfie sitting on a rock with his face in his hands.
"Alfie!" Zoe shouted running down the beach towards him. He turned around and his face was all red and his eyes full of tears. He stood up and embraced Zoe.
"Come on, let's go and find Nala." His voice broke as he said Nala's name.
"Okay. Felix, Marzia, Naomi, Marcus and Gabby are coming too, to help look for her. I'll wait for them." Zoe said, still holding on to Alfie.
Alfie kissed the top of Zoe's head. "Okay." He said, "See you soon." Zoe didn't have a chance to reply before he went sprinting off at full speed. Zoe sat on the rock which was still warm which Alfie had sat on.
"Zoe!" A female voice said behind her. She spun around to see Gabby, Naomi and Marcus there. She ran up to them and gave everyone a hug.
"Thank you so much for coming. Let's find Nala."
20 minutes later, Marzia and Felix arrived and they had reunited with Alfie. They had split up into two groups, Zoe, Alfie, Gabby and Felix, and then in the other group, Marzia, Naomi and Marcus.
Zoe had taken Alfie's hand as soon as they got to him, she felt like she had to be extra nice to him now that his most loved thing had gone. Zoe wondered where she had gone, and all of a sudden she saw something. A little black dot a long way down the beach.
Alfie saw it too. "NALA!" He screamed. They saw the little dog turning and running towards them and Alfie started sprinting towards her. Suddenly, like out of nowhere, there was a man running towards Nala and running off.
