I was listening to the volume 3 intro a bunch and suddenly some images appeared in my mind. This intro, particularly the end of it, just felt like it was perfect for a Destiny trailer. Inspiration works in weird ways.

Oh and if you don't like blood then you might want to turn away.

Also, to clarify, each line of lyrics happens at the same time as the line describing the scene directly below it.

Maybe red's like roses,

Camera starts looking at a single rose in a massive field of red roses.

Maybe it's the pool of blood,

The camera flew up into the sky until the field of roses looked like a pool of blood.

The innocents will lay in, when in the end you've failed to save them.

The camera looked up to show the endless field of blood and all the dead civilians that lay in them.

Their dying eyes, are wide and white like snow.

A couple Guardians walked around the bodies, looking down at them in sadness and shame.

And now they know the cost of trusting you is obliteration.

The bodies' heads suddenly turned and looked at the Guardians as if they had betrayed them.

Mirrors will shatter,

Atheon appeared in the Vault of Glass.

Crushed by the weight of the world.

The camera turned and showed six Guardians preparing to fight for their lives.

The pillars collapse,

Six Guardians stopped the Annihilator Totems from activating in Crota's End.

In,

The six Guardians made their way across the bridge.

Shame.

The Guardians now stood together before Crota, Son of Oryx, weapons ready.

There'll be no rest,

Three Titans, one of each subclass, stood together on Mars, fighting of Cabal.

There'll be no love,

Three Warlocks, one of each subclass, stood together deep in the moon, fighting off Hive.

There'll be no hero in the end who will rise above.

Three Hunters on Earth jumped off a cliff, activated their different Supers, and descended on a large group of Fallen.

And when it ends,

Each trio was reduced to just one Guardian.

The good will crawl.

The last surviving members tried to crawl away as their enemies became Taken and killed them.

The shining light

The camera now looked out from the Tower, towards the Traveler.

Will sink in darkness,

An army of Taken attacked the Traveler.

Victory for hate incarnate,

At the end of King's Fall, Oryx, The Taken King was calling upon the darkness, with an army of Taken Hive in front of him.

Misery and pain for all,

The City fell into collapse as Taken and Fallen began killing everyone.

When it falls.

The Tower Vanguard, and a million Guardians fell head first from the sky above the traveler. They all looked "up" at The City in ruins as they descended…

… and they all activated their supers.

Yeah yeah, I could have done something else, I know. But this was what came to mind and I don't want to do anything different. Actually, I think it turned out pretty well, though that may be because I really like the song. XD
