*BEEP..! BEEP..! BEEP..! BE-!*
A red furred fist slams a digital alarm clock. Laying in bed was a red-furred dog with saggy eyes, which were dark purple. The dog yawns, stretching his arms up. He looks over to a small table that was next to his bed and spotted his phone. He reaches over to it and successfully grabs it, pulling it over to him. His thumb presses a button the phone's side, causing the phone to light up.
His eyes glance at three giant numbers that were at the top in his phone. It was currently 6:15 A.M. The dog looks over at the curtains to see that the sky was a beautiful orange like a delicious orange without the skin. The dog moves the blanket away before his feet stepped onto the soft, carpet-covered floor.
The dog was 5'2" in height, not really tall but not really small either.
He proceeds to head to the closet to get his clothes, a green shirt, blue jeans, a black winter cap, and grey backpack before leaving his room, closing the door behind him, then went to the bathroom. After a minute of cleaning and refreshing himself, he silently walked downstairs as to not wake up his family. However, he heard something from downstairs. He assumes that maybe one of his family members was awake. He passes the living room couch, into a doorway that led to the kitchen.
He spots a taller, 5'7" in fact, red-furred dog with black hair in the kitchen near the fridge. He recognizes the dog to be his brother, due to the hair. "Hey, big bro." the dog called the taller dog, prompting the big dog to turn around, revealing that he was holding a piece of chocolate cake with whip cream on top of it. His big bro, embarrassed that he was caught eating unhealthy food at this time, responded. "O-oh, hey, little bro… Please don't tell mom and dad." He pleaded.
"Don't worry, I didn't see anything." The dog said, walking over to the fridge, grab a cereal box, grabbed the gallon of milk, and walked over to the table, where a bowl was conveniently placed on. After making his breakfast and eating it, he stood up from the table and placed the bowl in the sink before grabbing his backpack and headed to the front door of the house.
He grabs the door handle, twisting it, and pushed the door, letting in the cold breeze of the cold outside. It has been said that Parappa Town gets really cold at random days due to the town being in the north of the US. The dog exits out of his house, a place of precious warmness, and closes the door behind so to not let in the unwelcomed harsh snow.
The trees and grasses that were tall were being brushed by the breeze, making them move slightly. The dog admires the environment. The beautiful neighborhood and the green grass & green trees. The dog started walking down the pavement that led to the sidewalk. He turns right to when he started walking on the paved sidewalk.
After a long while of walking, he spots a bus stop with the signal being yellow, signifying that it was for the school. However, he spots someone sitting at the bus stop alone. Upon a closer look, he could make out the person's features. It was a blue feline with blonde hair that was on her forehead from the top of her head. It wore a light pink jacket and pink jeans.
He decided to strike a conversation with this person since the bus wasn't coming for a couple of minutes. "Hey."
The feline turns her head to him, glancing upon him. "Yeah?"
"Is this the bus stop to Parappa High School?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, that's the only school in town, so yes." Answered the feline "Are you new here?" she asks, also raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I moved here two weeks ago. I recently enrolled at the school. My name's Favian Hoffmann, by the way." The dog named Favian finished, reaching his hand out for a friendly handshake. The feline responded by accepting his handshake. "Katy's the name, Katy Kat." the feline named Katy responded, winking her right eye and smiling at him.
"Mind if I sit next to you, I don't like standing still for so long, especially in the cold." Asked Favian, feeling a little bit cold now. "I don't mind." She responded, scooting a little from her spot to give it to him. Favian proceeds to sit in the seat, sitting next to her. "So, uhhhh, how is Parappa High School like?" he asks, laying back on the chair like a couch.
"Oh, I'm actually new to the school. The school's website claims that it's the best in this state. Maybe that's why more people are coming into the town." Katy admitted. "If it's not, I have some friends to hang out with during school."
"Hope the claims of the school being amazing are true." Favian admitted. Before they could continue talking, they heard a distant sound of a roaring engine. They turn their heads to the left, where the sound came from and spotted the noticeable yellow bus going down the street that they were, getting close to the duo.
The bus started slowing down, letting out a really loud screeching sound, making the duo cover their ears with their hands while gritting their teeth. The bus finally came to a halt, stopping next to their bus stop. After stopping, the bus opened its yellow doors outward, revealing its insides. Sitting on the bus driver seat was a chubby Caucasian guy with a blue cap, white shirt, and blue pants.
"Come aboard." The bus driver commanded, speaking in a slightly raspy, deep voice. The duo followed command and entered the bus, stepping inside. The bus inside was full of many characters, some of which were talking to each other while they rested on the seats like couches. The seats were dark blue and comfy looking. The duo walked over to an empty seat for two people, since the other seats were occupied.
"Hmm, these seats feel so comfy" Favian stated, sitting and scooting the seat that was attached to the wall. "Yeah" Katy responded, sitting next to him and getting relaxed. The bus started moving, once again letting out a loud screech. Luckily, the sounds didn't reach the bus' interior so as not to annoy the students.
