Shawn's dad Dies
One day Shawn goes over to his dad's house to visit but the only problem
his dad does not know he is coming.
After school Shawn says to Cory" I'm going over to my dad's house but he does not know that I'm coming" Cory well then what will you do if he is not there?"
Shawn says well then I will just sit there until he comes home then" you can't do that" Cory says and "why not" Shawn says. So he goes over to his dad house and he is there.
He knocks on the door and his dad answer his dad lets him in and the start talking about why he came over. Shawn says I can't visit my own dad?
So his dad says whatever I just am going to have people over to play poker so you can't stay long. Shawn says "well I'm sorry I am not that important to I wish I was never in your life! Shawn walks out the door in shame.
The next day Shawn was depressed and Cory asked "what's wrong with you Shawn?" my dad last night said I couldn't stay long because he was going to play poker with his friends."
Well I'm sorry to hear that. You don't have to be ok just don't talk about.
The school day goes by and Cory thought about what Shawn must be feeling.
After school Shawn came over like he does everyday. Cory's mom asked what is wrong Shawn "nothing" Shawn you just lied to my mom" said Cory "will I don't want her our the rest of your family to know about it"
The next day at school Shawn got called on the speaker to come to the office. He went to the office and he had a call it was the hospital they said that his dad was about to die because of drinking and over dose on pills.
He was let out of school early but by the time he got there his dad already died. He really didn't care because his dad really didn't care about him. The next day at school everyone was he said don't be.
