So in the second episode of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D, The Satellites reveal that Yusei has a fear of insects, stemming from when a roach crawled into his ear. This is my version of what happened, starring my own character, Phoenix
Yusei huddled on the floor, shaking slightly. He could feel it in his ear, scratching at his skin. His friends crowded around him, trying to figure out how to remove it.
"What should we do?" one of his friends asked.
"Should we pull it out?" asked another.
"If it gets scared it might go further into his head." Replied the first panicked.
"Well what then?" asked someone else.
Just then she walked in. The newest addition to their group. Her scarlet hair fell in curls over her shoulder. She paused and frowned at the crowd.
"What's all this noise?" she asked sternly.
"A bug's crawled into Yusei's ear." Somebody said.
"We don't know what to do."
Phoenix walked slowly towards Yusei. She knelt down in front of him. She softened her tone.
"Okay Yusei," she said calmly. "Now, I'm going to need you to stay very still, okay?"
He looked at her with pleading eyes. She leant closer, and in one swift movement she pinched the roach and grabbed it, pulling the roach out and throwing it across the room. One of the Satellites stepped on it.
Phoenix gave Yusei a half-smile. "There we go," she said, still composed.
"D-Did it lay eggs?" Someone asked. Yusei started shivering again.
She shot the speaker an annoyed glance. She looked back at Yusei with a calm expression.
"I need a torch and one of those cotton bud sticks," she commanded. She placed her hand on Yusei's knee while they waited. They gave her the items. She moved slightly to look in his ear. She clicked on the torch.
"I can't see anything," she reassured him. Then, just to be sure, she ran the cotton bud stick around his inner ear. She pulled it out and inspected it.
"Just as I thought. Nothing there," she said, presenting the cotton bud as evidence. He looked at it vacantly. She sighed slightly, then leaned toward him and kissed his cheek. "It's okay now." She said. She stood up and turned to leave.
"Thank you." Yusei said, the first words he had spoken since he had discovered the roach.
She turned back startled, then nodded.
