Ryou and Ichigo had just gone out on one of their dates when it started to rain.
"Well, it's about time I was getting you home anyways; don't want your dad to come hunting me down now do we?" Ryou asked as he gave Ichigo his sweater.
"I suppose you're right; I was just having so much fun." Ichigo said sweetly.
"Yeah; I was too, but you know how your dad gets." Ryou said as he walked her up to her front porch.
"I know; I tried to warn you, but you didn't believe me." Ichigo said with a small giggle.
"Yes, I know." Ryou said a little annoyed, remembering when he met her parents.
"Wow, you're on time today." Shintaro said opening the door.
"He always has her home on time dear. It's so good to see you Ryou; would you like to come in?" Sakura asked as Shintaro started to Ichigo in the house.
"Thanks, but no; I promised Keiichiro I'd meet him back at the café to help with some new pastry idea. It's always good to see you as well. But I'd better get going; have a good night. See you tomorrow for work." Ryou said as he and Ichigo hugged goodbye.
"God dad! Do you have to be any more intimidating?! Ryou's not going to do anything; he hasn't even tried!" Ichigo whined after the door was shut.
"I didn't do anything!" Shintaro yelled as Ichigo kicked her shoes off.
"Gahhh!" Ichigo yelled as she ran to her room.
"Gahh to you to young lady! What?" Shintaro asked his wife as he plopped on the couch.
"She's not a little girl anymore. She will always be our baby, but she's growing up. I'm sure if she's having sex she's smart enough to use protection." Sakura said softly as she sat in a chair.
"EWW! MOM! I'm not having sex yet! That's just wrong!" Ichigo yelled from her room, clearly embarrassed.
"Good! You don't need to see any of that; nope not my baby girl…" Shintaro said simply folding his arms over his chest.
"God…" Ichigo sighed as she shut her door and went over to her bed to lie down.
"Trouble in paradise, huh Kitty-Cat?" A voice asked hovering above Ichigo.
"Ahh! Kish, what the hell?" Ichigo asked shocked; she hadn't seen him in over three years.
"Aww…did ya miss me?" Kish asked teasing her as he inched closer to her.
"Sort of…as a friend. What are you doing back here?" Ichigo asked confused as she started to back up.
"I heard that that perfect boyfriend of yours cheated on you and that you broke up with him a few years back." Kish stated, looking at her with lust in his eyes.
"Yeah. What of it?" Ichigo asked annoyed.
"Well I thought I would come back and give it another try." Kish said with a smirk.
"Give what another try?" Ichigo asked confused.
"On being together. I see that there are people of your race dating people of my race now; seems like our kinds are getting along really well." Kish said simply as he sat right next to Ichigo.
"Yes, it surprisingly has worked out really well. And yes, I did catch Aoyama-Kun cheating on me and I did break up with him about two years ago. But umm Kish…" Ichigo started.
"Yes, what is it my love?" Kish asked inching as close as he possibly could.
"I'm already dating Ryou right now." Ichigo said softly.
"Excuse me! You're dating who?" Kish asked angrily, scaring Ichigo.
"I-I'm da-dating Ryou no-now." Ichigo stuttered out scared.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DATE HIM; YOU HAVE TO DATE ME! I CAME ALL THE WAY BACK HERE FOR YOU!" Kish yelled getting Ichigo's parents' attentions.
"Ichigo, are you ok in there? Is someone hurting you?" Shintaro asked worried; it was the first time Ichigo was truly glad to have him freaked out over a boy.
"No, I'm not ok!" Ichigo yelled.
"Do you need me to deal with anything?" Shintaro asked right.
"No, I think I'll be ok." Ichigo said simply.
"Damnit Ichigo; I'll be back! And when I come back for you, you had better be ready to choose me!" Kish yelled orbing out just as Ichigo's parents got into her room.
"Ichigo, who was that?" Shintaro asked right away, pissed off.
"Ichigo, sweetie, are you ok?" Sakura asked her daughter worried as Ichigo had tears running down her face; she was in shock.
