Keep the Peace

Sgt. Greg Parker was a father, a uncle, a confidant, and a mentor.

He was a father to his son, (even if they were estranged) and he always thought of him. He also treated Ed Lane in a fatherly way at times, always giving advice, and sticking through the tough spots.

He was an Uncle to Clark Lane-Eddie's son-and to Sadie(Sam and Jules' daughter). He played basketball with Clark and listened to him on the cello. He could always calm down Sadie when she was feeling tetchy, no matter what the circumstances.

And Greg was a mentor to Team One. He made sure that everyone was alright personally and professionally, he kept an eye on those who had recently gone through trying circumstances, and he understood many problems that his teammates brought to him.

When he'd first become an officer in the SRU Gregory had expected strong people with good training. He had not expected to gain a family. But that was exactly what he did. Jules would forever hold the "baby sister" title with him and Eddie, but she was still one of the most capable people he had ever met. She was strong, smart, and knew when to play and when to fold.

Sam Braddock was one of the newer editions. He had a flirty attitude, and a slight arrogance that would've annoyed most people if they didn't respect him. Bright and practical as well as a brilliant shot, Sam was always someone that Sgt. Parker thanked God for giving him.

Spike was sort of the quirky, techno guy who could get them in anywhere. With his odd humor, and endless amount of smiles, he could cheer you up no matter how bad a day it had been.

Ed Lane was one of the strongest members of Team One. He'd been there almost as long as the Sgt. He served as a mentor to the rookies (Sam, Leah, Donna) and an older brother figure to the others. He often treated Jules like a younger sister going so far as to steal her phone when her boyfriend called and pretending he was her "Personal Assistant."

Through thick and thin the team always had each other's backs.

"Team One, hot call! Armed male, mid 20s, in public restaurant possible hostages!"

"Ok boys and Jules!" Greg smiled. "let's keep the peace."
