Hi, everyone. I'm back... for now. I am still alive. This story is a request from Retro Mania. I hope you enjoy.
Annaliese and Erika watched as Priminger was dragged off to the dungeon.
"I can't believe that we did it!" Annaliese gushed.
"I know. It's amazing."Erika replied. The girls watched as Julian and Dominick walked toward them. The girls shot each other a smile.
"Well..." Julian said as they reached the girls.
"That was some adventure." Dominick chuckled. They all shared a laugh as they headed toward the castle
As they all sat around the table later that evening, they discussed the day's events.
"well, darlings." Queen Genevieve began. "It has been a long, tiring, emotional day. I'm going to bed."
"Good night." the foursome echoed.
"Erika, can we go for a walk?" Dominick asked.
"Sure." Erika replied with a smile as she scooted away from the table. Annaliese and Julian shared a smile as they watched the two leave the room.
"Can you imagine being able to travel and sing unhindered by anyone." Erika said quietly as they walked through the rose garden. "Nobody to tell me that I am nothing more than an indentured servant.
"Are you sure that's what you really want?" Dominick asked. Erika stopped and turned toward him. she was slightly concerned about his intense gaze.
"Dominick?"
"Please, just hear me out." He pleaded."What if I could offer you that and so much more."
"What do you mean?" She asked as Dominick took her hands.
"I want you to be my wife."
"What?" Erika said as she pulled her hands away from his.
"Erika?" Hurt etched itself across Dominick's face.
"I can't." With that she ran back into the Palace
Two days later
"Annaliese, darling?" Queen Genevieve called.
Yes, Moth...? Annaliese froze as she entered the room. Queen Genevieve was sitting at her desk hernhair forming soft curls that looked a lot like Annaliese's own.
"I need you to go to the mines and check with Simeon and make sure things are going well with mining those crystals."
"yes, Mother." Annaliese turned to leave. "um, Mother?"
"Yes, darling?"
"Is everything alright. I know with the wedding catastrophe and everything."
"Everything is fine, Darling. don't worry about a thing."
"Ok." Annaliese left the room. She walked down the ha'' to Julian's new office. "Julian."
"Yes?" Julian startled as he spun from the bookcase he was looking at.
"Something is wrong."
"What do you mean?"daughter is alive
"My mother is acting really strange."
"Annaliese." Julian said as her walked over to her. "She's probably still trying to work through everything that happened two days ago. first she thinks her daughter is dead. She then finds out that her daughter is indeed alive and that she is about to marry a thief and almost murderer."
"True." Annaliese whispered.
"Just give her time to get things back into perspective."
"Ok." Annaliese said with a smile. "Well I'd better get to the mines like my mother wanted.
Well I hope you liked the first chapter. I didn't get as far as I hoped, but it will get there. Thanks for reading.
