Did you ever have those days where your own thoughts drive you crazy? Taking in deep breaths, Riku sat in his shower embracing his legs letting steamy water pour over him. Sometimes he wished that he could of stayed innocent and young forever, running around Destiny Island with Sora, never having to worry of the burden of getting older. It sounded like a normal teenager's whine but he didn't want to love Sora. He wanted to be straight but as much as he wanted to turn back, that was not an option now.

Standing up and turning off the shower, Riku tied a towel around his waist and ignored the tangled, wet mess that was his hair. Opening the bathroom to his small apartment, a warm vapor instantly filled it's stuffy air. Riku didn't even bother to check a clock or outside as he whipped off his towel and lay under his sheets. He stared up at the ceiling doing nothing but thinking. Riku thought of Sora's face, various things he has said to Riku before, and why he even might of loved him in the first place. Without even being aware his eyes flickered into a deep sleep.

Jerking awake, Riku felt cold sweat slowing making it's way down his bare back. As he practically jumped out of bed and started yanking on clothes he remembered the saying, Sleep on it. It helped him this time as he attempted to put on his shoes, hopping towards the door on his open foot. Once he was fully dressed he hit the streets of Traverse Town in a sprint, arriving at Sora's apartment quickly. Walking up the stairs on the outside he went to the Penthouse apartment and knocked on the door.

Sora grumbled from inside the apartment and showed up at his door in a pair of sagging plaid pajama pants, scratching his head covered in a mass of tangled spiky hair. His bright eyes widened at the sight of Riku, then tangled in confusion as he saw his face. "Riku what is wrong?" Sora hesitantly said.

There went Riku's mind again, thinking too much. Should he really say he was about to? He seemed so reluctant now but he just had to do it, even if he had to force the words out of his mouth. Riku let it out as a large breath, "I love you Sora."

Pressing his lips together in a pained expression, Riku watched Sora closely. Sora's expression quickly turned soft as he whispered Riku's name leaning in towards him. When their lips were only a hair apart Riku grabbed Sora's face stopping him. Riku let out a frustrated sigh and there his mind went again, considering if this was what he really wanted. Finally it all came clear, he didn't know what he wanted out of life, he just knew right now all he wanted was Sora.

Wrapping his arms around Sora's neck, Riku thrust Sora against his body and began kissing him. Sora instantly reacted with the same aggressive kissing, spinning Riku around to close the door to his apartment. Riku began pulling Sora towards his bed, anxiously roaming Sora in the process, his lips now finding Sora's ears, then practically attacking his neck. As soon as he was on top of Riku it wasn't long before clothes started flying.

Staring up at the ceiling, Riku softly panted, still out of breath Maybe he had let his hormones get the best of him, maybe he knew for sure this time he really didn't love Sora. Not that he was going to lie to himself, the sex was amazing, it seemed as if the pain didn't even affect Sora. But he still knew there was the side of him that knew how he couldn't control himself around Sora, it was only a weakness, a weakness that he must conquer.

Gathering up his clothes, Riku silently dressed, staring at the moon outside of Sora's window. Even when he was dressed, Riku stood there, his legs refusing to move. Before he left, he came to Sora's side of the bed kissing him on the forehead. "Sweet dreams." he whispered, though now the only thing that remained in Sora's apartment, was Riku's lingering ghost.
