President Mason sat at his desk. He was glad he had spared Eve, allowed her in the bunker. She reminded him of himself. He wondered if she really wanted to survive in the new world, he didn't. The Arks wouldn't be his world, he didn't want to be the kind of dictator they would need. A part of George Mason wanted to shoot himself now. But he felt he had to stay at his post. In the event there had to be any last minute decesions he would make them. If the United States of America was to end, he wanted to go down with the ship. Then his wife Sharon came into the oval office. Things had been stressful between them ever since Febuary 4th. She never really forgave him for not telling his own family about the asteroid. Between that, and their multiple infidelities, they didn't have a great marriage. But now, all they had was each other. Their children were gone, as was their grandchild. The satellites confirmed that ELE had hit. The tidal wave was coming. George and his wife went outside. It almost seemed like a beautiful day. The animals were fleeing. They knew danger was coming, but they wouldn't get away in time. The 300 foot tidal wave soon presented itself. They could see the buildings and bodies inside. George and Sharon held hands tightly as it came for them. It would likely break their necks immediately. Even if they survived, they'd drown before reaching the top of the wave.

Sharon: Think it'll hurt?
George: I don't know.
