Hey there readers. Bet you forgot about me. Well, I'm alive, and still writing. I've just had some not-so-great stuff going on, and haven't been in a good mindset. I hope to be typing up, and posting more writings soon. Happy reading!

Disclaimer: I do not own Alice in Wonderland (by Lewis Carroll), or the song Still Doll (by Kanon Wakeshima). On the other hand, I do own my idea for this fic.

~ Mirror Alice ~

I stared sadly into the mirror. A petite girl, with long blonde hair, stared back, her pretty, blue, glass eyes shimmering in the light.

"Hello Alice." I greeted the girl. "How is it over there, in your dream world? What kinds of things can you see there? Who will you be meeting in that enchanting place?"

Tears flowed down my cheeks, as I thought back to the day that I followed a rabbit into his hole. The countless tea parties. The animals and flowers who were more than happy to spend hours on end, conversing with me. My heart ached. I clenched my chest, and bit my lower lip. How I missed those days... I would give everything to go back. Back to my Wonderland.

I traced my hand over the mirror girl's perfect face. It was pale, and without any flaws.

"Miss Alice. I remember how much the people adored you. How they wished it were them who you would present your love, sealed with your sweet lips." She blinked at me, her eyes becoming damp like mine.

"I remember the Hatter, and his charming jokes, and riddles. The Cheshire cat's wise, yet puzzling advice. Those cards who wanted nothing more, than to please their Queen. What was the song they sang again?" I hummed quietly, then Alice smiled slightly. "We're painting the roses red..." I sobbed, choking on my words.

"Oh Alice, why can't I go back to Wonderland?" I brushed the tears away, and let my hair out of it's black band. Small blonde strands fell into my face, but I was too distraught to care. Turning around, I walked out of the room, leaving the empty mirror behind.

Hope you enjoyed it. Reviews are appreciated, can't grow as a writer without them!
