.:.Chapter One.:.

Téa sat in her seat, waiting for the morning bell to ring so the teachers could begin their lesson. She hung her head in her hand, bored. Yugi wasn't there today...for Ra-knows why, and Joey and Tristan were fooling around while Duke was scolding them. Téa looked at them from afar. She didn't feel like going over...lately she'd been so bored. Nothing was happening and there was officially nothing to do. Not that she didn't like hanging around her friends and all...but she liked adventure! Like when they went to Duelist Kingdom...or Battle City and that virtual world! Those things were the kind of stuff she wanted to do...of course not necessarily on the same terms or anything but close enough...

I mean when's the last time we even had a field trip?

Téa silently questioned, pondering over the thought.

::Bring Bring::

Téa jumped and looked over with surprise as the ringing bell shook her from her current thoughts.

Finally...sheesh...

She thought as she turned her attention to the now-arriving teacher.

Ms. Katsuko, their global history teacher, cleared her throat and made a gesture to inform them she had something to tell them. Téa and the others waited patiently as the teacher began.

"Class, I have some exciting news..." She drawled, "We're going on a field trip! I have made an appointment at the Domino City Museum of Architectural Facts, so we can go over and see some of the amazing artifacts Ms. Ishtar and Mr. Pegasus have collected on their trips to Egypt, and as you already know we have been studying Egypt for quite awhile, so I thought maybe we should do some hands-on things...well not exactly hands-on, because you cannot touch anything there, all the artifacts are over one thousand years old." The teacher babbled on as everyone took his or her time to absorb this piece of information.

Wow...a field trip? It feels like someone's been reading my mind or something...

Téa thought as she half-listened to the teacher.

"Hey Miss K-someding, when is dis field trip ding a ma bob dingy?" Joey asked, confusing himself. Téa rolled her eyes.

Wow Joey...you sure make a lot of sense...

Téa thought sympathetically. Though, much to everyone's surprise she understood and even answered him.

"Its Ms. Katsuko Joseph, not that hard, and to your question the field trip is tomorrow, so be ready class, okay?" The teacher warned.

What do we have to be ready for? We're just going to a stupid museum...so much for that adventure...

Téa scoffed as she reappeared once again bored.

But wait...didn't she say Ms. Ishtar? Could it be? Ishizu? This could be Yami's chance to find more about his past...and maybe something exciting will happen!

Téa could barely contain herself, so when the bell rang she hopped out of her seat, but before she left she heard Ms. Katsuko.

"Class before you leave make sure to grab one of these permission slips I've set over here or else you won't be able to go!" She tried to yell over the crowd. Téa dashed back and made sure to grab two.

One for her, and the other for Yami.

::A/N: Hello everyone! This was revised because of my former mistake. Ms. Katsuya was supposed to be Ms. Katsuko which was kindly pointed out to me in one of my reviews. Sorry for the inconvience and the second chapter should be out soo. Thanks for being so patient.::
