Disclaimer: I own nothing.

A/N: OK, this is a totally random idea I had some time ago and I had to write it. It's not really funny, but I put it in the 'humour' category for lack of a better place to put it in. There aren't really any spoilers or pairings. It's not meant to be serious either. It's actually quite silly. Enjoy (and don't forget to review).

When the Slayer's Slayer Sense kicks in, she feels her blood getting warmer, goosebumps and shivers all over her body, a rising sensation of disgust mixed with a lust for the kill that rivals that of the most vicious vampires' for a fresh victim. Buffy, however, would never feel any of these things. She'd always tell Giles: 'If it wasn't for their complete lack of taste in clothing, I'd have been picked up at the Bronze by about 32 different vamps, without ever having a clue until seeing their pointies! You should be grateful I'm alive at all, Watcher-mine! Say, do you have any more of those jelly donuts?'

What Buffy never realised was that she did have her Slayer Sense activated just like every other Slayer had had before her. Sure, she might not feel the presence of vamps as acutely as Kendra and Faith did, so maybe it hadn't been a completely successful installation. However, some part of her body would be perfectly aware of any un-dead entering a range of 500 metres around her. And this part of her body would 'tingle'.  The problem was that she'd blame this on something else. If this tingle came, and it was winter, she's blame it on the cold. If this tingle came, and some random hottie happened to pass by, she'd blame it on him. If this tingle came, and she'd happen to be having a tickle fight with Willow, she'd blame it on her.

All in all, she'd like this tingle. She'd feel none of the disgust and hatred Kendra felt, and none of the unquenchable heat Faith felt. She'd just tingle, and she'd like it, in blissful unawareness of the cause.

With Angel, some place around her heart would tingle. With Spike, it was further down… With Dracula, she felt her neck tingle. With Riley, she felt nothing.

Maybe that's why Buffy liked certain vamps so much.
