DEAR READERS,
I decided to rewrite all of my chapters for this South Park story. If you have read this previously and remember anything from it you will notice that I had completely removed the poem in the letter and rephrased most of what I have already written. Because of the Dawn of the Posers episode I have changed a few things. I will write the goth kids canon names but not when Aiya refers to them. She refers to mike as ethan, pete as dylan, and poor firkle as georgie... and on some occasions she'll refer to henrietta as the pretty one.
Please don't hate me.
~Ellie

My name is Aiya Snowe, and about five years ago I had moved to a small mountain town in the middle of Colorado. I wanted to share my story of how my life in said mountain town truly went, and how someone like me could become friends with some of the most unusual people.

Five years ago I had turned fifteen. I was living in the middle of nowhere in Canada with my mother's parents until they were supposedly too old to take care of me anymore. One day it was snowing and my gramma had told me that I had a letter when I had gotten home from school. It was from my cousin. The same day I was supposed to leave on the plane to live with him and my dad's sister in South Park. All my stuff had already been sent down so I wouldn't have to worry about bringing so much with me to the airport.

On the plane I had decided to read the letter that my cousin had taken the time to write to me. We would always write the date at the top of all of our letters so we knew when we actually sent them. I think my gramma was holding on to the letter for a couple days because the date didn't match the usual delivery time. I shrugged ignoring the date on the letter because I still ended up receiving it before I left.

Aiya,

When you get here, don't expect the warmest welcome from the people in town. I think you remember how people here treated gingers as soulless creatures that not even the devil himself would accept when you were here before. I hope you thought about what I had said in my last letter, about keeping your head covered, or at least letting your hair go back to its natural color. Either way when you get here, Mother and I will be here to welcome you with open arms. I'll see you when you get here.

Ethan

So as he said… er wrote… I wasn't expecting a warm welcome from anyone when I arrived. After a few hours on a plane, I finally arrived at the South Park airport. I was quite scared when I stepped of the plane, I didn't exactly leave on good terms. Not much had changed in the few years that I had been living in Canada, but I decided to wander aimlessly around and take in the old sights that I had actually missed. After a while of wandering I spotted Ethan standing by the street lamp at the end of the street, smoking, probably looking for me. I ran at him in all of my excitement and caught him off guard with a flying hug… I could have toppled him if he wasn't so much taller than me that my forehead collided with his chin on impact. I took a deep breath and nearly choked on the smell of cigarettes and Tag. We split from our awkward hug and laughed for a few minutes until our stomachs hurt. When we finally stopped laughing we walked down the street until we got to the house. The outer walls were a nice cinnamon color and the door was the color of hot cocoa. The black window frames matched the outline of the Asian style door frame. I ran my hand over the cold metallic numbers before Ethan opened the door and stepped out of the way, letting me enter the house first.

[ending authors note]
I hope ya'll forgive me for doing this and rewriting my old chapters. So short prologue is short, I'm going to attempt to combine chapter one and two so chapter one isn't nearly as short. ALSO Aiya now has an ask blog on Deviantart [it's .com] where those with accounts can ask her questions and get an answer that hasn't been brought up within the story line, and might possibly be brought up later if the question isn't inappropriate.

A big thank you to the readers who have actually taken the time to read and favorite this story. And another thank you to the readers that actually took the time to 'review'.
I am working on the other chapters and I hope I can get them 'published' soon.

Thanks again from your friendly neighborhood writer ~Ellie [swak]
