The house was empty, my parents were out. Yet I felt someone watching me. I think it's her, with her brownish-red hair and expressive brown eyes. With that big grin and that shout of Naru. She changed me, I know that.
After Gene died, my life was full of darkness. But she... she was like a ray of light in that darkness. She made me smile and laugh with her attics. Just like Gene. I frown.
"Do I like Mai like a brother?" I asked the empty house.
"Oliver, you are an idiot."
My eyes widen as I turn towards the mirror. Gene was frowning back at me.
"Eugene?"
