{Based on the prompt- i'm on the bus and my 2-year-old won't stop crying, except you just smiled at them and they did)
Another day of stress for Bellamy.
He loved Raven to bits but sometimes she ruined his day. For one he never got enough sleep so he looked like a zombie half of the time and two she was impossible to take anywhere. Raven would just start crying and make a big fuss. But that's what 2 year olds are like when they don't want to do something. And that brought Bellamy to his current situation.
He was on the bus with Raven sitting in his lap. They were going to Bellamy's parents for the day and normally she would be exited to see Octavia but today she was extremely uncooperative and stroppy. She was crying very loudly and waving her arms around. Many heads were turning to Bellamy to see where the fuss had came from. Some smiled sympathetically and some frowned disapprovingly. The bus stopped and the doors opened. Bellamy looked out of the window to see the hospital. A beautiful blonde haired girl in scrubs sat next to him. She looked as tired as him. Ravens cubby fists waved around and knocked the blonde in the face. She didn't shout or get angry but just smiled at the brown haired child. Ravens crying and wailing stopped. She slumped back into Bellamy's lap and smiled back at the girl next to him. Bellamy's mouth dropped in shock.
"How did you do that?" he asked.
"I don't really know!" she replied with a laugh.
"I'm Bellamy and this trouble maker is called Raven," he said offering his hand. She shook it and said, "The names Clarke."
"Just finnished a shift?"
"Yeah it was a night shift as well so I'm super tired."
"Trust me when I say that I know how it feels" he said whilst tickling Raven making her squirm and chuckle. They talked for a while about Bellamy's single parenting raven, Clarke's dream of being an artist and for a weird reason what would happen if there was a radiation leak.
"This is our stop," Bellamy says as he pulls Raven up from his lap and stands her up.
"Thank you so so so much for quieting her down! You know if your ever free I'd like to repay you, how about coffee sometime?" He asks.
" You really don't have to thank you but coffee would be nice. Here's my number," she says handing him a piece of paper. Bellamy takes a long look at Clarke. God, he thinks, she really is gorgeous.
As they make their way off the bus raven shouts a goodbye and waves dramatically. Clarke laughs and waves back.
"Daddy, when can we see the pretty girl again?" Raven asks. Bellamy smiles down at her daughter.
For the rest of the day his thoughts are filled with smiles, golden hair, the paper in his back pocket and the future of coffee.
