Hermione stared out the window and watched each, individual rain drop fall to the ground. Each raindrop which hit the earth, felt like another dagger through Hermione's heart.

She thought of all the fun times her and Krum shared. The first time they hugged, the first time they kissed and well, the first time she forgave him for cheating.

Hermione knew she was weak back then. She kept giving in to her love, her true love. In her eyes, Krum couldn't do anything wrong, but he did. He treated her like the ground he walked on. Even though she had only been with him for a short while, Hermione had learnt to forgive and forget and well, to love again. But this time. This time was different. Her true love had turned into her true hate and Hermione was determined to move on.

Hermione noticed the rain was slowing, so she went for a walk to clear her mind. Her favourite hoodie jacket was draped over the chair in which Krum used to sit in. Hermione sighed as she placed the hood over her head and walked out the door.

As Hermione walked, she looked around and noticed all the places where she and Krum used to sit and talk. They talked about the good times; they even talked about the bad times when they were resolving issues.

This time, Hermione sat down in her favourite spot. Her sanctuary spot, by the pond. She thought of the many times that Krum would stand on the opposite side of the pond, and not complain, he was quite happy to stand there and not invade her personal space.

But this time, she stared where he would stand, and all she saw was…

"Ron." Hermione said looking puzzled.

"Hey Mione, hope I wasn't interrupting anything." Ron said as he sat down next to her. At that moment, Hermione realised that Ron was sitting in her special place. No-one dared to sit in her special place. Instead of feeling angry, she felt calm and open towards Ron. She didn't feel he was invading her space. It was sort of like a gentle summer breeze blowing through her hair, it felt just right.

"Mione, I just want you to know that I am here for you, if you wanna talk. If you don't wanna talk, I will sit with you in silence. If you don't wanna be silent and scream your lungs out, I will scream my lungs out to. If you need to cry, I'm not afraid to cry and if you need a hug my arms are always open." Ron explained.

A small and fragile smile appeared on Hermione's face. For once some one in this world actually cared about her. Someone in this world actually realised that she was human just like everyone else. Someone in this world had finally realised that she needed help to move on, and she was glad that Ron was that someone.
