"Oh, come on, Harry, you can tell me!" Ron nearly yelled, getting a little angry at Harry's reluctance...

… Up until Ginny punched him hard. She had a mean right hook and it knocked Ron flatly on his ass. "Oh, come on. We've seen Harry every summer, Ron. You know his study habits, hell, you share them, and it's always funny to watch you two do your summer homework at the last minute! You really can't be serious by thinking that he found a way to put his name in the Goblet! Or that he would even want to! You two are LAZY, and this tournament would be a lot of work, now would it?"

Ron gaped at his sister and tried to counter but he found himself rubbing his chin. "Welp, you're right. Bloody hell have I been a prick. Friends still?" asked the redhead... the older one... raising his fist.

"The best," Harry noted, fist bumping Ron. "It's not like I thought you'd betray me. Not considering you walked into a nest full of Acromantula, slid down a pipe leading to the Chamber of Secrets and got into a fight with a werewolf along with me."

Ron laughed. "And then people would only remember that I get jealous sometimes and not the many times I've walked into nearly certain death following you."

"That would be stupid," Ginny said. "It'd be like people thinking I got Harry through a love potion or some sick bullshit like that," she said. "By the way, Harry, I heard you needed a date for the Yule Ball, and your godfather may or may not have stolen one of his cousins' old dress robes as a joke..."

Sirius Black holstered the vial of polyjuice, smirking proudly, as he high fived Ginny Weasley, who blushed intensely. "Also, I got you a date for the ball with Harry. And he was most definitely looking interested in you. You're about Narcissa's size at your age, and she did have the best taste, so don't worry, he'll be smitten with you at the ball."

Ginny jumped in joy. "Why are you helping me so much, though?"

Sirius grinned. "Why not? It's fun! You're a good gal, and Harry really needs to pull his head out of his ass in regards to girls. Lusting after a bro's girlfriend isn't nice. His father didn't like it when Padfoot humped Lily's leg," he said, shrugging innocently, "dog instincts, can't help 'em."

"Ewww..." Ginny trailed off.
