Breezewing padded through the ThunderClan forest, looking at all the different kinds of deciduous trees and plant life. Her grey pelt with white patches ruffled in the wind, and her pale blue eyes shone with a giddy kind of excitement. The young warrior had always been curious about the Twolegplace which she knew was just beyond the forest, and today, she would finally be able to see it.

From the moment she had woken up that morning, she knew it was a perfect day to go exploring. The sky had been a perfect blue, without a cloud to be seen. There had been no signs of bad weather, and the clan was in a state of peace.

The she-cat had been dreaming about this for ages, ever since her first day as an apprentice where she had taken the classic tour of the territory and been told that such a place existed outside the clan's territory. Breezewing had always been a curious cat though – and sometimes it was that curiosity which got her in trouble or nearly injured, but she didn't mind as long as she got to explore or find some good answers.

As soon as her silver paws stepped past the clan borders that she had been confined to all her life, the feline's excitement grew, and it was seen in both her expression and the way she giddily bounced forward. Yes, she was finally in the Twolegplace that she had waited so long to see – this was it.

She was actually here.

Breezewing trotted around the strange place, taking in all the strange sights and scents. It was all so different than clan territory! The Twoleg nests, which she had heard rumors about, where so large, and the Twolegs themselves were so weird, so different than any animal she had ever seen in the forest.

The whole place was so weird yet so wonderful at the same time; ugly in some ways but beautiful in others. The young warrior was fascinated by it all, to say the least. Breezewing was very glad that she was exploring this place; it was very interesting. At first sight, she thought it would take her very long, a lifetime even, to learn all it's secrets.

The warrior was overwhelmed as she gazed around, her curiosity being fed with sights and information. She was so consumed in her thoughts at one particular moment that she didn't know she was standing in the middle of a Thunderpath – and a monster was speeding towards her.

She didn't notice the monster until it was too late. It was her own curiosity that killed her.

The End
