One day, ten year old Tweek Tweak was minding his own business helping his father with their family owned coffee shop. Tweek stepped out the back to throw away garbage when he was picked up by unfamiliar hands. These hands covered his mouth and dragged him away, muffling his screams. Before his father could make it outside to make sure he was okay, Tweek was already gone, the bag of trash left in the back alleyways of Tweek Bros. Coffee.
Tweek was blinded the rest of the way by some odd smelling hood. His panic attacks were worse; he was going to die. He was terrified. It felt as though his heart was leaping out of his chest constantly. He heard strange voices. Deep voices that spoke in something he couldn't pick up. He felt the tears stream down his face. He was going to die.
The vehicle he knew he was in had stopped and not a second later he was dragged out and lifted off the ground. Being a child he was easy to pick up, obviously. His body suddenly hit hardwood flooring, knocking the breath right out of him. His head smacked the floor hard and his limited vision worsened. The hood over his head was ripped off and he was face to face with three large men with smiles on their faces. Tweek felt his tears fall even more. They were going to hurt him.
Tweek watched in horror as they began to get closer to him. He thought his own panic attack would kill him, instead of whatever these guys wanted to do with him. Everything happened very fast after that. There was a loud crash and the men went to check it out. Suddenly they were screaming. It wasn't the scared type of screaming either. It was painful screaming. He heard crackling and then a loud howl filled the air.
Then nothing.
It was barely light, so the shadows were still intense. But at the door that lay partially open, there was a large figure standing there, staring into the abandoned cabin. The lighting made the figure solid black, but there was one eye that was wide and white that he could see staring right at him. Tweek felt fear again. His whole body trembled violently. It seemed as though this figure saw this and ducked away. It was gone. Tweek never saw that thing again.
He was left alone once again. Tears burned his eyes and his body never stopped trembling. He wanted the warm embrace of his parents again. He wanted to--
"Tweek!"
A familiar voice caught him by surprise. He looked back at the door and saw that it was opened all the way and his one and only best friend stood there. He had a look of complete worry on his face. Tweek's body began to slowly stop shaking. Not all the way, but just enough.
"C-Craig...?"
Tweek was confused. Where did Craig come from? Why was he there? Did he happen to catch the incident as he was hanging out nearby? Did he parents get to Craig and Craig got there by magically teleporting. None of them know. Only Craig knows. And that slowly stopped mattering due to what was already going on.
Craig ran over to him and helped him up. Tweek noticed one small thing that bothered him, but he did not want to bring it up. It was his eyes. There was something different about them. They were not to dark blue color tweek remembered. In fact, they were the light baby blue eyes that could easily be mistaken for white eyes. Tweek saw it got darker for some reason. He didn't question it fully, he was too shookened up.
Craig took off his usual blue jacket and wrapped it around Tweek's shoulders. Just as he did so, Tweek saw blue and red lights flashing outside the cabin. In came his parents. They rushed over and embraced him. His mother had tears in her eyes. Something he never really saw as much. His father held onto him tightly. Tweek felt a bit embarrassed about being loved like this in front of his best friend, but he didn't care at that point. He thought he'd never see his parents again. He thought he'd never see Craig again. Before burying himself into his father's embrace, he took one more look over at Craig. His eyes were back to normally. Craig noticed him staring and gave him a loving smile.
Tweek smiled back.
Things seemed a bit different after that. Not too different, but different enough to where Craig was with him way more. Tweek enjoyed the company, but he still found it odd. Either way, he was glad his friend cared that much. But Tweek wanted to ask him how he managed to find him before his parents came. What happened to those guys? Craig didn't say much about it. It was an answer Tweek kind of expected, but something said he was still skeptical about it.
"Oh, I was nearby when I heard the commotion. Next thing you know, I saw your parents stopping their car next to me and told me you were kidnapped. I went with them, but the car couldn't go any further so I got out and ran over to where I knew whoever took you was keeping you."
It seemed believable. But something just wasn't right. He still wanted to know what happened to those guys. After a while though, they did find those bad men. When Tweek was told of the news, he stared at his friends with wide eyes.
"Yeah," spoke his dark-skinnned friend who went by the name of Token, who sat at one of the tables of the coffee shop with three others, "they just found them early this morning. Not alive though. They found them nearly ripped apart. They couldn't even fully recover the bodies because they were missing arms and legs, and they just were torn to shreds. They can't figure out who did it. Or what did it. They just issued another report saying nobody is allowed in the forest at night as they don't know what's going on."
Tweek was absolutely even more terrified after hearing this. It was literally just last night that Tweek was kidnapped and nearly had bad things happen to him. He probably came face to face with whatever that thing was.
"I... I think I saw something... Before Craig came in..."
Tweek saw Craig dart his gaze towards him. It kind of startled him but that was how he usually looked sometimes.
"You did?" Token questioned, his eyes seemed to dart from Craig over to Tweek immediately.
"I-It stood there in front of the door staring at me with this one white eye.." Tweek tried to keep his stutter in control. He was doing a decent job. "But then it just disappeared. Next thing I know, Craig was there."
"Did you happen to see it, Craig?" Token asked his friend, who sat there looking up at the ceiling like he was thinking.
"No. I didn't see anything worth the suspicion. I just opened the door and well, there was Tweek." Craig shrugged a little, then looked over at Token. "There was nothing there."
Tweek was concerned. There was tension Tweek can see between Craig and Token. Like they were talking telepathically with each other. Craig was glaring, and Token kind of looked upset or disappointed.
"I-Im sorry I got into this mess.." Tweek twitched.
"Don't worry about it, bud." One of the other boys, Clyde, smiled over at him. "Just know if Cartman happens to come by to get mad at you about it, we're here."
"He-He-He wouldn't g-get mad." The other boy, Jimmy, also spoke up after taking a sip of coffee. "But if he d-does.."
"He's gonna have to deal with me." Craig frowned at the thought.
"We're here for you, Tweek. Don't you worry." Token smiled over at him.
Tweek felt warmness in his heart. It was the coffee, but he just felt happy he had great friends that had his back. Unlike the four boys that he was friends with before who pretty much ditched him after a while. They stopped calling him and asking him to hang out. Then Craig and them came by and made him one of them. Tweek loved them. But he had a bigger heart for Craig. He kept it to himself, but Tweek did like Craig.
After last night, he seemed to like him even more. They did hang out more. The other boys soon left the two alone. Craig and him just talked the rest of the day. Occasionally Mr. Tweak would stop to make sure he was okay. Lucky for him, Craig was there to keep him safe. Aside from that, Tweek wanted to know why his eyes were different then. He wanted so badly to know why Craig had such light baby blue eyes they were almost as white as his sclera. He was ready to ask him, but he simply brushed it off.
Craig left after Tweek and his father closed up shop. Mr. Tweak offered him a ride, but Craig quickly denied it and just walked off into the cold. The snow seemed worse now, plus he was too paranoid, Mr. Tweak made sure his son was getting home safe. He began taking Tweek home all the time, especially at night time. Tweek was never really alone since. He just felt safer, especially since Craig was with him more.
Time flew pretty fast. Soon Tweek was sixteen years old and Craig was there still with him. Tweek managed to confess his feelings and Craig somehow felt the same. Not shortly after, they got together and have been happy since. Craig began showing a certain side of him after that. Craig preferred to sleep during the day. And at night, he was up like a nightwalker. Sometimes he'd go out if Token called, which he did often at night mostly. Tweek was not as worried but he still was scared of him being out there at night. Craig would just smile and say he's a lot safer than he thinks. Tweek hated that he says that, but he trusted his words.
Tweek still felt odd presences when he was near Craig. He noticed so much he didn't know before they got together. When Craig slept, Tweek saw his hair was thicker than he ever thought. It was almost like a small black mane on his head. Whenever Craig was angry, his eyes changed to that odd baby blue color. It changed back whenever he was around Tweek or when Tweek spoke in response to what was making him angry. Craig also had odd pointed teeth. It was... very odd.
Tweek simply brushed most of that off after a few months. They were happy together. After Tweek turned eighteen, he moved out of his parents house to live with Craig in an apartment together. Tweek was not as anxious as he was before, he was more relaxed and just happy. He still had twitching moments but not as violent as when he was younger. And Craig? Just more weirder. But Tweek still loved him.
Things finally settled. Craig was passed out in the bedroom and Tweek was finishing up feeding their guinea pig. Tweek walked over to the kitchen to make himself another cup of coffee. His coffee habits have died down a little. He still drinks up to 4 or 5 cups of coffee every day, but it's gotten better. As Tweek made coffee, he heard the bedroom door open. Not shortly after, Craig walked into the kitchen in his tank top and short, rubbing his eyes to get the tired out.
"Good morning, Craig." Tweek smiled at him. Craig strolled to him and gave him a lazy kiss against his cheek before grabbing himself a coffee mug.
"Good morning, Honey." Craig responded tiredly. "Did you get enough sleep?"
"Yeah, a little more than I used to." Tweek nodded in honesty. "Oh yeah, since you're awake, Token called. He wanted to have me tell you that he needs you to come over as soon as possible. He said it's a emergency?"
Craig stopped himself from drinking his coffee and looked over at him. His eyes did it again. They turned baby blue. Does he notice it does that?
"Did he tell you the emergency?" He asked not even hesitantly.
"He said it's a big emergency and had me keep my phone with me at all times." Tweek raised an eyebrow. "Is everything okay?"
"I'll figure it out." Craig responded, downing his coffee immediately. "My advice, do what he says. I'm going to shower."
Tweek watched him leave, his cup placed neatly in the sink. Before Tweek can even question a thing, his own phone went off. Tweek didn't bother to look at the ID as he seemed to know who it was.
"Hello?"
"Hey Tweek, is Craig finally up?"
"Yeah, he's up. He's taking a shower right now."
"Good. I'm sorry if you want answers but I promise you, it's safer if you didn't know. I hope you understand that."
"I-It's alright, I understand. I just... I hope everything's okay."
"Everything should be okay. But please, keep your phone on you and let us know if something odd happens. I'll talk to you later."
The phone ended abruptly. Tweek sighed with worry, but he trusted Token as much as he trusted Craig. Nervous, Tweek made himself one more cup of coffee. Within ten minutes, Craig came out wearing a blue button up shirt and black pants. He wasn't wearing his usual chullo hat but then again he stopped wearing it a lot after a few years. Craig slipped on a watch around his wrist and grabbed on of the travel mugs, dumping the remaining coffee into it. Tweek felt a bit guilty he got Craig into drinking coffee.
"Okay, Honey, I'll see you later. Be safe at work today and please call me or Token if something comes up." Craig gave him a kiss on the lips before leaving the apartment. Tweek watched him leave, a small smile on his face.
Tweek got himself ready for work as well. He took himself a nice hot shower, then dressed into his work clothing. It wasn't special but he enjoyed wearing a olive green button up shirt with the sleeves and black pants. He grabbed his apron and keys.
"Take care of the place, Stripe." Tweek smiled at the guinea pig that sat in it's large cage. Tweek left the apartment, locked it, and headed to his family owned coffee shop. When he arrived, his father was already there opening up shop. He jogged towards him and gave him a hug from behind, startling the older gentleman a little.
"Well good morning to you too, son." Mr. Tweak smiled and ruffled his son's hair. "You ready to get the day going?"
Tweek nodded, smiling softly and entered the shop once it was unlocked. He took out his phone and sent a message to Craig to let him know he was at work. Craig responded instantly and it always made him smile and happy.
Okay, babe, be safe. I love you a ton. I'll call you on your lunch break.
Tweek then helped his father get everything ready and let the day start nicely. It was a bit too nicely, however. And Tweek felt something was seriously wrong. It should have been obvious when he saw a car stop across the street in front of the shop. Tinted windows and all. His heart nearly stopped.
