Chameleon Heart

This is a short poem Rapunzel wrote while she was growing up in that tower.

A/N: I love Tangled, it's such a sweet story, I adore it. I wanted to write a little something about Rapunzel and Pascal for awhile now. I think their friendship is adorable. I hope and pray for a sequel or prequel for Tangled, but, once Disney says, "And they happily ever after," the story's usually done with. ;w; Let's hope together! *crosses fingers*

Chameleon Heart

The world, so close,

Yet so far.

The sky, so blue,

Yet so dark.

My head, it thinks,

But not clearly.

My heart, it beats,

But not nearly.

The comfort of friendship,

Eludes me.

Being hidden in this tower,

Consumes me.

Is there someone out there,

Willing to mend?

Is there someone out there,

Who needs a friend?

Cause I need a companion

Who is always there.

I need somebody

Who will really care.

Just for awhile

Is all I ask,

I'm sure there's someone

Who'll do the task.

When my heart is blue,

I need a change.

Even a day,

Maybe today?
