horatio watched the girl as she went into the interrigation room. she sat down and placed her hands in her lap. she had long dark brown hair that covered two-thirds of her face. when she had wlaked by him, he had seen that her eyes were a vivid green.
"H." eric said, who was standing next to him.
"Ready?" horatio asked. eric nodded and they entered the interrigation room. as they did, the girl looked at them then quickly looked down at her hands. throughout the whole interrigation she didn't say a word. horatio thought it was odd that she didn't try to defend herself.
"hold on eric." horatio said. he walked around the table and kneeled next to the chair she was sitting in. the girl went stiff and shifted to look at him. horatio couuld tell she was uncomfortable with him being that close to her. it was then that he noticed a large nasty looking bruise on her right cheek.
"are you alright?" he asked. instinctively the girl raised her hand to her bruised cheek. she shook her head slightly.
"is there anyone you'd like us to call?" horatio asked. again the girl shook her head.
"are you hurt anywhere else?" he tried. this time the girl nodded.
"would you like me to take you to a hospital?" horatio asked. Before he even finished the last word the girl began shaking her head.
"alright," he said, then paused in thought. "would you like to meet a friend of mine? her name's Alexx." the girl wasn't sure about it but something in the man's blue eyes made her want to trust him. she nodded once and stared into his eyes.
horatio glanced at eric meaningfully.
"i'll get her H." eric said as he walked out. the girl watched eric leave then felt a hand on her shoulder. she turned to look at the blue eyed man. he had stood up and was looking at her expectingly.
"what's your name?" he asked her softly.
she looked back down at her hands then said "Dessa...my name is Dessa."
