Of Infirmary Nights

Of Infirmary Nights
Every third month Genesis landed in the infirmary overnight.
Every third month Angeal would make an especially good dinner, pack it in a box, and bring it to the infirmary.
Every third month Sephiroth would get an infirmary night pass for Angeal and meet him to help carry the food.
The three would eat together. Sephiroth would give Genesis a massage. Angeal would give a half-hearted lecture to Genesis, and then would kiss him. If it was really bad, the Puppy and Chocobo would send 'get well soon' cards.
And after that they would all sleep, holding hands.
Genesis hated the nights he had to spend in the infirmary while he recovered from whatever injury he had received on his last mission.
But the massage, the kisses, and the way Sephiroth and Angeal somehow found a way to lie next to him on the infirmary bed at night…
It made nights like these so much easier to endure.
So when he got home he would return the favor.
And those nights were unforgettable.
